Peter Boneparth joined Irving Place Capital in 2009. He focuses on investment opportunities within the retail and apparel sectors. Mr. Boneparth served most recently as Chief Executive Officer of Jones Apparel Group, a leading designer and marketer of apparel and footwear brands. During his time there, Mr. Boneparth expanded its apparel offerings and grew the firm through the acquisitions of Maxwell Shoe Company, Gloria Vanderbilt, Barneys New York, Kasper/Anne Klein and L.E.I. Previously, he served as CEO of Jones Moderate Division and also was CEO, president and a board member of McNaughton Apparel Group. Mr. Boneparth currently sits on the boards of Kohl's Corp. and JetBlue Airways Corp. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina and received his JD from the University of Virginia.
