“Marketing in the Service Cloud”
Increasingly the line is blurring between marketing and customer service. Additionally, we are seeing the market shift to a new way of computing that is inherently cloud-based, mobile and social - which makes the need to reinvent customer service for the Web a big priority for every marketer who wants to reach customers through social media, build customer evangelists and ultimately shape their brand. With social media services like Twitter and Facebook gaining popularity, businesses are looking for strategies to better leverage them and enable deeper insight into what customers want and gain their feedback about the overall brand, unlike the traditional call center experience. For example, there are over 500 million users on Facebook alone – shouldn’t you be listening and engaging with your customers in these settings? Social media-based customer service is an ever-growing marketing resource, but many organizations are still trying to figure out the best strategy for their company. Salesforce.com’s Kendall Collins will share best practices on how your company can leverage these technologies for marketing and customer service.

The keynote session will address leadership of customer experience in today’s business environment from the viewpoint of the CMO.

“A Capability Model for Engaging Consumers in the Connected World”
We are at an inflection point in marketing and advertising:
- There is a crisis in consumer engagement: 80% of CEOs think they provide a superior customer experience…just 8% of their customers agree.
- We are insight and focus challenged: just 32% of senior marketers know how their customers behave across channels…yet multichannel buyers are 4-5x more profitable.
- We have a crisis in advertising delivery: we know that only 80% of online advertising fails to reach its intended target.
Tim Suther, CMO of Acxiom Corporation will discuss the new capability model that is needed to succeed in this new multimedia, connected world. He will address the 4 key capability pillars needed to enable companies to engage audiences and customers with the goal of increasing customer value at every touch point.
