Summary:
In a global economic environment that has recovered from the deepest recession in decades, especially in developing markets, but is still affected by ongoing sovereign debt issues, inflation, currency fluctuations and social unrest, investors are seeking a deeper understanding of how to accumulate wealth and preserve its value. The role and behavior of commodities, natural resources and gold present a unique and attractive investment alternative in the current environment.
On October 26th Argyle Executive Forum and the World Gold Council will host a breakfast meeting for our investor community to share their outlooks, perspectives and best practices on investing in gold and commodities: what to know and how to react. The morning will consist of panel discussions focused on investing as well as presentations from the World Gold Council’s Investments, Technology, Jewelry and Government Affairs divisions looking at the international gold markets and raising awareness of the key drivers, uses, forms, and role gold can play as a strategic investment to an investor’s portfolio as well as its behavior and outlook in the current environment.
This meeting is by invitation only and is limited to senior investment professionals from endowments, foundations and pension funds and select consultants, as well as the senior leadership from leading institutional asset managers and registered investment advisors.
