Summary:

Private equity investment activity has been robust in 2011 bolstered by an improving economy in the US, a more receptive environment for financing deals, and a strong pick up in M&A activity. However, continuing unrest in the Middle East, the still unresolved sovereign debt crisis, weak economic activity in Europe, and the crisis in Japan are threatening to derail a broader turnaround. Many questions remain about the direction for private equity this year. What are the promising sectors for investment in 2011? Will private equity investors lose out to cash heavy strategic investors looking to commit capital?  Do the BRIC or MENA countries provide the best opportunities for investment in the coming year and what is the optimal way to play?  How will deal structures change to better align GP and LP interests? These are amongst the topics to be addressed at the 2011 Leadership in the Private Capital Markets event in New York.

Argyle Executive Forum is pleased to present its 2011 Leadership in the Private Capital Markets event. The event, to take place in Manhattan, will bring together 100-115 investment professionals from leading private equity firms, CEOs & Board members of public and private large cap and mid cap corporations, complementary areas of executive leadership (CFOs & COOs), investment officers from the endowment, foundation, and family office community, as well as representatives from the event's underwriters.

Argyle meetings are by invitation only. If you did not receive an invitation but would like to inquire about attendance, please contact Lucas Gochanour at lgochanour@argyleforum.com.
