Domenic Alcaro

Domenic Alcaro is currently Vice President of Mission Critical Services and Software. In this role he leads an organization that is tasked with developing and implementing a data center lifecycle services strategy. This includes the integration of acquired companies that advance Schneider Electric’s vision in this area. Prior to his current role, he held various technical, sales, business development, and management roles during his more than 17 years at Schneider Electric including his most recent role as Vice President, Enterprise Sales where he lead a team dedicated to helping large enterprises formulate their data center strategy.
Prior to joining Schneider Electric (American Power Conversion or APC at the time before being acquired by Schneider Electric), Domenic was a commissioned officer in the U.S. Navy and served more than six years in the submarine community. During that time he was certified to serve as Chief Engineer of any U.S. nuclear-powered submarine and was also selected as the Navy’s Instructor of the Year, worldwide.
Domenic has delivered major presentations at local, national, and international industry conferences on topics such as business continuity, data center planning, design/build, operations, commissioning, maintenance, and energy management. He has been published in magazines such as Energy User News and writes a blog entitled “Data Centers from the Trenches.”
Domenic holds a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rochester and is a member of the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society.

Jose Almandoz joined IntraLinks in March of 2012 as Executive Vice President of Business Operations. Previously, Jose worked at Novell where he held several prominent positions including CIO, Vice President Global Field Operations, and President of Novell’s Latin America business unit. Prior to Novell, he held leadership positions with Cambridge Technology Partners and other top global consulting firms. Jose brings to IntraLinks more than 20 years of experience working with global software, technology, and consulting companies.

David Carlson
Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer (Retired)
IHS Inc.
Dave Carlson retired from the position of Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of IHS (NYSE-IHS) in January of this year. During his five years at IHS, it grew from about $550 million to $1.3 billion; a compounded growth rate of about 20%. IHS was also unique during this period in that it had year over year record revenues, EBITDA and earnings in every quarter including the difficult period from 2008 to present. During that time, IHS also made more than 40 acquisitions; funded mainly by cash from operations. His responsibilities included all product development, internal business applications, content management systems, worldwide infrastructure and advanced technology strategies including mobile devices and cloud computing.
He has also served in senior technology positions in several other companies including Ingram Micro which grew from about $8 billion in annual sales to about $28 billion the three years he was there. Over his career he has managed technology investments and spending of nearly $4 billion.
He holds a BS in Math, an MS in Industrial Administration and a Ph.D. in Engineering; all from the University of Michigan where he also did post-doctoral work in Financial Policy and taught Psychology and Computer Systems Design. He recently took additional course work in dispute resolution at the Pepperdine Law School and attended the Directors College at the Stanford University Rock Center for Corporate Governance.
His awards include the Carnegie-Mellon/American Management Systems’ "Award for Achievement in Managing Information Technology"; the Society for Information Management "Partners in Leadership" Award and the Smithsonian Institution "In Search Of New Heroes" Award. He is a member of Tau Beta Pi, an Engineering Honorary.
He currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Orange County (CA) Audit Oversight Committee and, in the past, served as a member of the Board of Directors, Electronic Resources Limited, Singapore, the Board of Trustees of Adrian College, Adrian, MI and a Guest Lecturer at the London School of Economics

Denis Edwards

Denis Edwards is ManpowerGroup's Global Chief Information Officer and a member of ManpowerGroup's Executive Management Team. He was promoted to Senior Vice President and CIO from Vice President – CIO in February 2010. Prior to serving on the Executive Management Team, Denis was Vice President - Global Solutions Delivery until January 2009 when he was promoted to CIO.
As CIO, Denis has overall responsibility for leading and coordinating information technology functions across ManpowerGroup's operations in 80 countries and territories. Denis joined ManpowerGroup in 2007 and has played a significant role in developing key transformational technology solutions for ManpowerGroup's global operations that benefit the company's clients and associates.
Prior to joining ManpowerGroup, Denis was Vice President – Global Solutions and Architecture for Cadbury-Schweppes, the world's biggest confectionery company. Denis has also held senior IT roles with PriceWaterhouseCoopers, where he served as Managing Director of Application Services; Marriott International, as Vice President of IS Strategy; and Marriott Vacation Club, as Chief Technology Officer. In addition to his Fortune 500 expertise, Denis has served as Chief Technology Officer for several successful start-up organizations.
Denis holds a Master of Science Certificate in Information Technology from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science degree from Nova Southeastern University, where he graduated with honors. He is a member of Alpha Chi Honor Society. Denis also holds a Masters in Six Sigma & Black Belt from Villanova University.
Denis is also a member of the Advisory Board for the not-for-profit organization, Guitars for Vets.
John Guevara

John joined Allscripts in December 2010 and is responsible for the company’s information technology, internal business applications, security, and global infrastructure. John also leads the Technology Solutions Center and SaaS groups which run Allscripts external data centers that provide enterprise hosting and critical cloud infrastructure services for some of Allscripts largest clients.
A seasoned leader with extensive success leading mission-critical operations and global initiatives, John has previously worked as a global CIO and as Vice President of Managed Services. He is a strategic-minded leader adept at identifying opportunities for sizeable gains that drive future business growth and business transformation.
At Microsoft, John was General Manager for the Enterprise Services Solution Management application portfolio where he focused on leading the transition from legacy business process and systems to a next-generation ecosystem. His leadership enabled breakthrough business advantages in process, workflow, data management, global access, supportability, operational management, and customer relationship management.
Prior roles include Global CIO at high-tech manufacturer Intermec; CIO for automotive manufacturer Delphi, where he had full responsibility for the regions IT strategy and operations with global responsibilities for infrastructure and strategy, Vice President and Group Director of Siemens Business Services (SBS), where he managed the internal outsourcing business unit for North America reporting to the SBS CEO; and President of Comptech a computer integrator, managed services and consulting services provider.
John holds an undergraduate degree in computer science from St. Thomas of Villanova and completed advanced studies in management and strategy at Wharton and Fuqua business schools.
Bill Haser

H. William Haser is vice president and chief information officer, Tenneco. In this role, Haser has responsibility for the company's global information technology operations. He reports to the CFO, and serves on the Tenneco senior management team.
Haser was appointed vice president and CIO for Tenneco’s American businesses in 1998 and was named to his current position in 2002. From 1995 until 1998, Mr. Haser served as vice president and CIO of Tenneco Packaging.
Since joining Tenneco Inc. in 1983 as a business analyst, Mr. Haser has served as assistant to the CEO of Tenneco Packaging; production and manufacturing manager in specialty packaging; plant general manager in molded fiber and controller for paperboard.
Mr. Haser is a graduate of Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, and holds a BS in chemical engineering from Cornell University.

Jean Holley

Jean K. Holley is Group Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Brambles Limited, the global leader in pallet and container pooling solutions, serving a wide variety of manufacturers and major retailers around the world. She is a member of the executive management team and is directly responsible for leadership on technology trends and industry futures, including the mobile internet, enterprise and consumer computing and all aspects of IT strategy development, implementation and global IT operations for Brambles worldwide.
Prior to joining Brambles, Holley served as Executive VP & CIO for Tellabs, where she was a member of the executive team responsible for defining and executing company strategy. That included acquisition strategies, new product/service development, supply chain operations, marketing, investment and research of innovative technology solutions worldwide. She was responsible for all aspects of IT strategy, execution, outsourcing and global operations.
Prior to Tellabs, Holley served as CIO for USG Corp and in various leadership positions for Waste Management, Digital Equipment Corporation and Inland Steel. Currently, she serves as a member of the board of directors for VASCO Data Security International, Inc., a global provider of enterprise-wide security solutions. At VASCO, she is on the Audit, Compensation and Governance Committees. She also guest lectures at Cornell University, IIT, DePaul, Loyola, Missouri University Science & Technology.
In the past, she served on the board of trustees for Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), where she chaired the board of overseers for the School of Applied Technology and was a member of the Academic Affairs Committee. She also served on the board of trustees for Missouri University Science & Technology, where she worked on multiple key strategic initiatives to review and rename the university, including the rebranding and marketing aspects to recruit, retain and increase students and research in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).
Holley was inducted into the Women in Science and Engineering Hall of Fame at Missouri University Science & Technology, where she also received an honorary professional degree. She received the Spotlight Award from the Chicago Software Association, has been listed by ComputerWorld as one of the top 100 CIOs, and received the “CIO of the Year” award from the Association of IT Professionals (AITP).
She holds a Master of Science degree in computer science/engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) and a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science/engineering from Missouri University S&T (formerly University of Missouri – Rolla).
Daphne Jones

In her role as SVP and CIO, Daphne is accountable for helping to steer the $4 billion dollar company achieve and sustain market leadership through the use of technical solutions across multiple functions around the world. Reporting to the CEO, she and her diverse team of IT professionals, who are located across the US, APAC, EMEA and India, help define & ensure implementation of strategies and improved business processes designed to deliver increased market share, revenue, profitability, compliance, and overall business value. She is accountable for the worldwide solution strategy and value, business process performance improvement, and the global technology portfolio.
Prior to Hospira, Daphne served as the worldwide vice president of information technology and chief information officer for 3 Johnson & Johnson, Inc. Operating Companies where she steered implementation of multi-regional SAP solutions and collaborated with Integrated Hospital Networks in the area of Healthcare IT. As CIO, Daphne also developed and executed global IT strategies across multiple business units, and drove Johnson & Johnson's recent device/diagnostics sector-wide IT transformation.
Previously, Daphne served in other IT roles at Johnson & Johnson, leading organizations in designing and developing IT solutions that helped increase revenue, improve profitability and reduce costs. Prior to Johnson & Johnson, she was director of IT at Public Service Electric & Gas in Newark, N.J. She began her career at IBM, where she held a variety of sales and systems engineering leadership positions.
Daphne received her BS in Business Administration and her MBA from Illinois State University.
She has received numerous awards, including being named as the Computerword Premier 100 IT Leader for 2012, BDPA “ CIO Innovator Award” , and was awarded United Way of NYC Women in Philanthropy Award. She is a motivational speaker, a developer of enterprise talent & a champion for the underserved.
Daphne is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago, IT Senior Management Forum (ITSMF) the Executive Leadership Council, is a board of trustee for the Evanston Arts Center, and serves on the Executive Council of the National Biotechnology & Pharmaceutical Association. She is a founding member of McKinsey’s Senior Women in IT Forum. In 2009 and 2010, until his honor left office, she served on Mayor Daley’s Council for Technology Advisors (and also co-chaired the HealthCare IT Subcommittee).
She and her husband, Rev. George M. Jones, reside in Highland Park, IL and Jersey City, NJ. Their children are graduates of Morehouse College, Villa Nova University, Harvard University, and Colorado College.

Dr. Vikram Saksena

Dr. Vikram Saksena, 54, is chief technology officer at Tellabs since 2008. In this role, Saksena has responsibility for Tellabs’ technology strategy and business development, focusing on the areas of optical networking, Carrier Ethernet and IP, and mobile backhaul.
Previously, Saksena served as chief technology officer for Sonus Networks, where he was responsible for advanced technology direction, guiding future development of the company’s wireless solutions, and increasing technical focus on external audiences and government agencies. Before Sonus, Saksena served as chief technology officer and vice president of engineering of two start-up companies, MaxComm Technologies and Narad Networks. In the early part of his career, Saksena spent 16 years at AT&T building the company’s data network services, software and network infrastructure for Frame Relay, ATM and IP. He became an AT&T Fellow in 1997 for his pioneering contributions to developing AT&T’s data networking business.
Saksena holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering and a Master of Science degree from the University of Illinois and a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology. He also holds more than 15 patents in telecommunications and data networking and is a senior member of the IEEE.

Robert Tabb

Rob Tabb joined Ecolab as Chief Information Officer in 2003. In this role he is responsible for Corporate Information Technology strategy as well as functional responsibility for the IT department globally. Ecolab, with more than $11 billion in revenues, is the global leader in water treatment, food safety, hygiene and sanitation.
Rob has 30 years of experience in the systems technology arena. Prior to coming to Ecolab, he has held CIO positions for Nike Inc., CNF Transportation and Ryder Systems. Rob began his career at Anderson Consulting, now known as Accenture, followed by eight years at Dun & Bradstreet Software (DBS) where he held senior management positions in marketing, business development, and general management.
He has a BS degree from Washington and Lee University and an MBA from Tulane University. He is a CPA (inactive), a CMA, and is APICS certified. Rob is currently on the Board of Directors of the Minnesota High Tech Association and the Guthrie Theater.
Rob and Anita have two daughters. Their interests include the local community, travel, golf, and various sporting activities.
Ananthan Thandri

Ananthan Thandri serves as Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Mentor Graphics. As CIO, Thandri oversees Mentor’s Global IT Organization; License and Install of Mentor products; and Enterprise Security.
During the last five years, Thandri transformed Mentor IT from being an “order taker” to an innovative and proactive technology and service provider, while reducing the overall IT spend.
Thandri joined Mentor in January 2007 from Oracle Corporation, where he served as vice president of Information Technology. During his time at Oracle, Thandri and his IT organization supported the software development needs of more than 10,000 software engineers working in the Server Technologies division.
Prior to Oracle, Thandri spent 11 years at Cadence Design Systems, ultimately serving as vice president of Information Technology.
Thandri’s career also includes additional technical leadership roles at various IT services companies. He stays active in the local Portland IT community by participating in the Portland CIO Alliance, as well as several CIO panels locally and across the U.S. Thandri is also a member of several IT Supplier CIO Advisory Councils.
Thandri graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Madras, India, and holds an MBA from St. Mary’s College, California.
Charles Wallace

Charles Wallace is Vice President and CIO for Business Technology Systems, at Keystone Foods (A Division of Marfrig Group), a position he has held since June 2009. In this role, his principle responsibilities include but are not limited to, spearheading global collaboration with internal and external customers that enable the essential technology business systems for the ever growing IT needs of the company and the businesses it serves.
Prior to this role, Charles was Rohm and Haas Company’s Chief Technology Architect and Director for the Global IT Infrastructure group, a position he occupied since 2005 managing architecture and governance, with the primary goal of marrying business need to IT services. Those services are presented in an IT roadmap of projects and programs used to implement technological innovations, technology lifecycle changes and business/IT strategies.
Charles had been with Rohm and Haas since 1992, where he held positions of increasing responsibility since joining the company. Immediately prior to his combined role he was Corporate IT Chief Technology Architect.
His career also includes several years as an IT consultant in the banking, retail and manufacturing industries. Charles completed his MBA at Villanova University, and has participated in professional workshops and certification programs at M.I.T., Duke University and Wharton School of Business.
Outside work he is an active supporter and board member of a number of NGOs, contributing his time and talents in particular to NPower Pennsylvania, the African American Museum of Philadelphia and United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania. Inside the organization Charles has served as the 2007 United Way Campaign Chair, Sponsored the AALN and was a participating member of the Chairman’s Diversity Council.
Charles has been recognized by several leading industry organizations over the years including CIO Magazine's "Ones to Watch 2008" and Black MBA Magazine's "Top 50 Under 50 2008".
