Thomas Dallam
VP of Human Resources

Thomas is a human resources executive with more than 15 years of experience and a demonstrated track record of effectively leading HR functions and driving business results. His areas of expertise include workforce planning, compensation, selection and assessment, change management, organizational development, and talent management. He is certified in HCI’s Strategic Workforce Planning, Prosci’s Change Management, DDI’s Leadership Development, Inside Out Coaching, and Stakeholder Centered Coaching.

Thomas has served as Vice President of Human Resources at DFW Airport since September of 2009. He is responsible for all aspects of HR including Total Rewards (Compensation, Benefits, Recognition, HRIS), Talent Management (Staffing, Organizational Effectiveness, Training & Development), and HR Business Partner Support. Since joining DFW, he has led key program implementations including a new Defined Contribution Plan, Engagement Survey, Strategic Workforce Planning, Competency Model, Applicant Tracking System, Mentoring Program, Succession Planning, and the Hay Job Evaluation System to name a few.

Prior to joining DFW, Thomas served as Vice President of Human Resources for Network Hardware Resale, Triad Financial, and Capital One.

Thomas has earned several degrees including a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Virginia Tech University, M.A. in Experimental Psychology from New Mexico State University, and a B.A. in Psychology from University of Missouri.

 

Jean Lee
Senior Vice President, Human Resources
Safety-Kleen Systems, Inc.

Jean Lee currently serves as Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Safety-Kleen Systems, Inc., North America’s premier provider of oil recycling and re-refining, environmental services, and responsible cleaning solutions.

Jean oversees the development and execution of human capital strategies to support profitable business expansion and she is responsible for managing HR service delivery, process improvement and program ROI. She and her team have instituted a sales force top-grading process, executed pay re-alignment for critical customer-facing roles, re-designed the annual incentive plan, mitigated benefits plan costs, established a centralized sales, regulatory, and operations training function and built a cost-effective in-house staffing function. Jean is currently sponsoring several cross-functional strategic talent management projects to improve talent bench strength, employee engagement and productivity.

Jean’s prior leadership roles include Vice President, Talent Development at Safety-Kleen, Vice President, Human Resources for Armstrong Cabinet Products, a division of Armstrong World Industries, Vice President, Human Resources for Overhead Door Corporation, and various management roles within Human Resources for United Healthcare Corporation, United States Fidelity & Guaranty Corporation, and The Travelers Group.

Jean received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the State University of New York, College at Oswego and earned her Master of Science in Organizational Behavior from the University of Hartford. Jean is a lifetime-certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).

 

Jose Motta
VP Global Total Rewards
Hewlett-Packard Company

Jose is the Vice President of Global Compensation for Hewlett Packard’s Enterprise Services Division. In this capacity he provides strategic leadership and ensures operating excellence in the Compensation area, supporting more than 140,000 employees around the world.

Jose was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico where he attended the University of Puerto Rico and graduated with Honors, obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. He also holds a Certification as a Compensation Professional (CCP) granted by the American Compensation Association.

Jose has more than 20 years of combined human resources experience. Prior to working for HP, he spent 12 years with PepsiCo. Most recently he was the Vice President of Compensation & Benefits for PepsiCo Americas Foods, where he supported Frito Lay and Quaker businesses in Canada, USA, Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean and South America. Prior to that he held various roles as Frito Lay’s North America VP of Compensation & Benefits, Director of C&B for Frito Lay Latin America, Asia and Australia and Personnel Administration Director for PepsiCo in Latin America.

During his career Jose has also held positions with Deloitte & Touche, Towers Watson (FKA Towers Perrin), Unilever and Motorola, as a Compensation and Benefits Consultant and Human Resources Director. He speaks Spanish, English and some basic Portuguese. He has traveled to more than 40 countries in five continents and done work in many of them.

Jose lives in Plano, Texas with his wife and three children. He volunteers in activities for the Catholic Church and enjoys, whenever possible, an occasional game of golf.

 

Laurinda Pang
Chief Human Resources Officer
Level 3

Laurinda Pang is Chief Human Resource Officer for Level 3.

Previously, Ms. Pang was senior vice president of Human Resources at Global Crossing where she led the global programs that supported the firm's Strategic Imperative to focus on its people as the drivers of its future growth. Ms. Pang also served as vice president of Global Crossing Customer Experience Re-engineering where she was responsible for all aspects of global business transformation affecting customer experience.

Prior to that, as vice president for Global Crossing Investor Relations, she was responsible for communicating with shareholders, bondholders and financial analysts. She also served as vice president of operations and chief of staff to the CEO for Global Crossing, and was a member of the executive team that restructured Global Crossing during a critical phase in its history.

Prior positions with Global Crossing included leadership roles in product management, sales and sales operations. In addition to restoring Global Crossing's reputation in the financial markets, she has contributed to the success of its UK business and enhanced the customer support infrastructure in North America.

She holds a B.A. in political science from Pennsylvania State University.
