Pat Brosseau is Vice-President, Human Resources for HSBC Bank Canada. HSBC Bank Canada, a subsidiary of HSBC Holdings plc, has more than 260 offices, including over 140 bank branches, and is the leading international bank in Canada. With around 7,500 offices in over 80 countries and territories and assets of US$2,691 billion at 30 June 2011, the HSBC Group is one of the world’s largest banking and financial services organizations.
In Pat’s current role she is responsible for the HR function for Commercial Banking as well as leading Employee Relations for the Canadian business. With over 25 years of human resources experience, Pat has focused on building human capital plans, total reward programs and employee value propositions. Previously, Pat was responsible for Compensation Programs for the Retail and Commercial Bank at RBC and Bank of Nova Scotia. Susan Burnett

Susan Burnett leads Talent and Organization Development at Yahoo!, and is accountable for learning, development, employee engagement, diversity, performance and succession management. The goal at Yahoo! is to build the employee value proposition, engagement and capabilities that matter most to the success of Yahoos and Yahoo!
Prior to Yahoo!, Susan led Talent Development at Deloitte, including the technical, industry, leadership, professional and career development and assignment management. At Deloitte, Susan led a new Talent Development Strategy, in collaboration with executive partners, to deliver leading-edge, customized, and integrated learning and development experiences that build market-leading capabilities for Deloitte. Under her leadership, this team led the learning design for Deloitte University, a new state-of-the art Learning Center opening in 2011.
Susan came to Deloitte from Gap Inc. where she was the Senior Vice President and Chief Talent Officer. At the Gap she was accountable for Recruiting, Learning and Development, Succession, and Organization Effectiveness. She led the company’s succession and career development system, in partnership with the executive committee and board of directors, and counts as success the current Gap executives who were developed through this process. Her organization established a leadership pipeline at Gap Inc. and worked with company leaders to define and deliver the competencies and development experiences needed at each level in the organization to produce business and personal success.
Prior to the Gap, Susan had a twenty-two year career at Hewlett-Packard Company where she held a variety of human resource and line management roles. As the Vice President of HP’s Workforce Development and Organization Effectiveness, she brought together over seventy-five training and organization development teams globally from pre-merger Compaq, Digital, Tandem and Hewlett Packard into a new team focused on developing the most competitive workforce in the world. In her role as the Director of Executive Development, Susan led the “Creating the Future” series of action learning designed to grow new business and strategic capabilities at HP.
Almost half of Susan’s career at HP was in line positions in marketing, where she led a variety of global marketing services and sales support functions for the computer systems business: competitive analysis, the executive briefing center, global product introduction support, sales force tools, literature and communications. This organization created the company’s first internet knowledge management tool that significantly increased HP's sales productivity.
Susan has a Bachelor of Arts from Simmons College in Boston and a Master's degree in Education from Columbia University. She was an elected member to the ASTD Board of Directors from 1997-1999, led the Strategic Directions Sub-committee and was the chairman of the board in 2001. Susan is the author of a commentary on Executive Education for Harvard Business Review, 2003 and co-author of Hewlett-Packard Takes the Waste Out of Leadership for the Journal of Organizational Excellence, Autumn 2003. She is a regular speaker on leadership development and how to use talent strategies for business advantage.
Bina Chaurasia

Bina Chaurasia assumed the position as Senior Vice President and Head of Group Function Human Resources and Organization at Ericsson on November 15, 2010.
Chaurasia has experience across different industries, including IT and retail. She joins Ericsson from Hewlett Packard where she is the Vice President of Global Talent responsible for talent management, learning and development, executive development, diversity, and staffing. Chaurasia has been with HP since 2007.
Chaurasia joined HP from Gap where she was the Vice President of Global Human Resources. Chaurasia also held senior HR leadership roles at Sun Microsystems and PepsiCo/Yum.

In the seven years she’s been with salesforce.com, Erin had led Recruiting, Total Rewards and Employee Success. She has also led the effort to make salesforce.com one of the world’s most employee-friendly corporate cultures. As a result, salesforce.com was ranked among Fortune magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For” in 2009, 2010, and 2011.
Before joining salesforce.com in 2004 as Vice President of Recruiting, Erin was Director of Executive and Corporate Recruiting at PeopleSoft. Prior to that, she led recruiting efforts for the Silicon Valley arm of Idealab. Earlier in her career, Erin worked as an executive search consultant.

Dr. Garonzik has worked in the private and public sectors, with domestic, international and global organizations. Ron has helped clients implement large scale organizational change efforts that incorporate strategy clarification and top executive team alignment, the setting and cascading of strategic accountabilities, and the leveraging of human capital to enable clients to achieve their strategic objectives. Ron’s executive and CEO succession practice is international in scope, and he consults at the board level.
Ron holds a B.S. from the University of Pittsburgh, an M.A. from Tel-Aviv University, and a Ph.D. from Boston University, all in psychology. His doctoral work targeted the identification of personal and organizational factors leading to the successful expatriation of international assignees of multinational companies. Ron was the recipient of Boston University’s Graduate School Prize for Teaching Excellence. John Rooney is the West Region Vice President of AchieveGlobal, and is located in AchieveGlobal’s Schaumburg, Illinois office. Prior to joining LSI in 2009, he held a number of executive positions at Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. Most recently, he was vice president, sales and marketing and managing director, Middle East Africa and Pakistan; he lived in Dubai, UAE and led in-region sales, marketing and public affairs. Prior to this role, Srivastava was vice president, sales and marketing, and chief of staff to the chief sales and marketing officer. Before that he was vice president, compensation and benefits. Prior to AMD, Srivastava was a Principal at Mercer Consulting, where he consulted to a number of technology companies. He has also held finance and business development positions in several start-ups. Srivastava is a native of San Francisco and received a BA in business economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Gabrielle Toledano

Gabrielle Toledano, Executive Vice President of Human Resources and Facilities, Electronic Arts, Inc., is responsible for EA's global staffing and resourcing, benefits and compensation, training and development, rewards and recognition, Corporate Social Responsibility, Facilities and Corporate Services.
Prior to joining EA, Ms. Toledano served as CHRO at Siebel Systems. Prior to that, she served seven years with Microsoft and five years prior to that with Oracle Corporation. Her portfolio has included a wide range of HR assignments including international work, most notably in Latin America. Gabrielle is bilingual and received her bachelor and master degrees from Stanford University, followed by a Rotary Scholarship assignment in Santiago, Chile.
Gabrielle served on the Board of Directors of the Society of Human Resources Management and is now on the Board of Directors of Big City Mountaineers.
Marcie Van Houten

Marcie Van Houten brings 20 years of management consulting, information systems and human capital management experience to her role as director of product strategy at Oracle. Ms. Van Houten has spent the past five years at Oracle working closely with customers and contributing to the direction of the company's talent management and succession management applications. Prior to Oracle, Ms. Van Houten spent nine years at PeopleSoft as Director of Information Systems leading both teams and internal human capital management implementation projects.
Prior to Oracle, Ms. Van Houten was a management consultant at Axiom and then Cambridge Technology Partners where she led business process redesign and systems implementation projects.
Ms. Van Houten holds a MBA from Southern Methodist University and a BA in Finance from the University of North Texas.
Joe Wegener

Joe joined Core-Mark International in 2008 as Vice President Human Resources. He previously held management and executive positions with McKesson, Budget Rent a Car, and ADT. He graduated from Sir Wilfred Laurier University in Canada with a BA in History.
Joe is new to San Francisco having moved with his wife from Los Angeles where they had lived since 1978. He has three children who reside in Los Angeles.
Core-Mark International operates 26 distribution centers in the US and Canada with about 5000 employees.
Karen Weisz

Karen Weisz is the vice president of Human Resources and Corporate Services for Standard Insurance Company with responsibility for Human Resources and Corporate Services. She joined The Standard in 2008 as vice president of Human Resources and in January 2009 was promoted to vice president of Human Resources and Corporate Services.
Before joining The Standard she was with Intel Corporation, most recently as the Human Resources Director of new and emerging Platform Business Groups. During more than 12 years at Intel, she held progressively senior management roles in Human Resources and Learning and Organizational Development, including overseeing Intel University. Prior to this Karen was a teacher with San Francisco public schools in both general and bilingual education.
She is a graduate of University of California at Santa Cruz where she holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology and Literature. She earned a Masters of Science degree in Educational Policy & Administration from Portland State University.
Weisz serves on the board of directors of All Hands Raised (formerly Portland Schools Foundation) and is a founding member and vice president of the Portland Public Schools Special Education PTA. She is an adjunct instructor in the School of Business at Portland State University and frequent speaker on issues related to human resource management. She is also active in a number of local organizations committed to women's leadership, education and disability advocacy.
