Noel Allen

Noel Allen joined Sun Products in January 2010 as Vice President of Corporate Development. His responsibilities include corporate strategy and leading the acquisition and divestiture activities for the Company. 

Prior to joining Sun Products, Noel was with Deloitte Consulting in the strategy and operations practice in the New York City office, advising clients on pre and post close transaction integrations.  Prior to Deloitte, Noel worked with Bard Capital LLC, a private equity firm.  Noel was the Vice President and Assistant to the Chairman leading and executing multiple multi-national transactions.

Noel has been involved in all aspects of corporate development and private equity investing. He has nearly two decades of experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate strategy, turnarounds and acquisition integrations. 

Noel holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Western Michigan University.  Noel resides in New York City.

 

Aris Chicles

Aris Chicles is executive vice president of Strategy at ITT. Chicles previously served as senior vice president, Corporate Strategy and Business Development, where he oversaw a series of strategic acquisitions and divestitures.

Chicles joined ITT in 2006 from American Standard Inc., where he was vice president of Corporate Business Development and was responsible for identifying, evaluating and executing corporate acquisitions and divestitures. Prior to this position, he had a 17-year career with Owens Corning in a series of progressively responsible positions, rising to head of Corporate Development and Strategy.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Miami University of Ohio, and received his M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

 

Ben Collins

As Director of Product Marketing, Mr. Collins is responsible for driving the growth of IntraLinks’ Corporate Development platform, including the company’s offerings for facilitating both buyside and sellside transactions.

Prior to joining IntraLinks, Mr. Collins served as Director of Corporate Development for Cognizant Technology Solutions, a leading global provider of IT services solutions.  While at Cognizant he was responsible for evaluating and executing a variety of strategic initiatives, but was primarily focused on driving growth through acquisitions.

Before Cognizant, Mr. Collins was a Vice President with Innovation Advisors, a boutique investment bank focused on providing advisory services for mergers and acquisitions in the technology industry.  He also worked at SG Cowen Securities in both their Corporate Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions practices.

Mr. Collins graduated with honors from Harvard University with a B.A. in Government.

 

Nadia Damouni

Nadia Damouni has reported on the financial markets for close to a decade, mostly focusing on mergers and acquisitions. In her current role as a correspondent for Thomson Reuters, she has broken some of the most high profile technology deals including Skype’s sale to Microsoft Corp, Amazon’s buyout interest in RIM, Compellent Technologies’ sale talks, Lawson Software’s hiring of an adviser to explore a deal and LinkedIn’s IPO plans. Nadia previously held the position as Editor of dealReporter, a subsidiary of the Financial Times Group where she also covered the M&A markets and prior to that reported on the bond markets for Credit Magazine. Nadia started her career as a political journalist, writing for several English-speaking newspapers in Beirut and Amman. She received her Masters in International Journalism at City University in London.

 

Wesley Fredericks

Wesley C. Fredericks, Jr. is a partner in Jenner & Block’s New York office and Chair of the New York Corporate Practice.  He practices in the areas of domestic and international mergers and acquisitions,  finance and related transactions.  Mr. Fredericks has extensive experience representing technology and life sciences companies, as well as companies in the financial services, clean tech, transportation, and industrial and manufacturing sectors, including the automotive industry, where he served as Chairman of Lotus Cars USA, Inc., among several other chief executive positions.

Mr. Fredericks is a past Chairman of the American Bar Association Business Law Section Committee on International Business Law and a former Chairman of its Subcommittee on Multinational Mergers and Acquisitions.  He has also served as a member of the Editorial Board of the ABA’s The Business Lawyer, the premier business law journal in the United States, and is a frequent speaker and moderator for American Bar Association programs.  He is regularly quoted in the business and financial press on topics of relevance to mergers and acquisitions and related areas of law.

Mr. Fredericks graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 1970, with a B.A. in political science.  He earned his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law in 1973.  He is admitted to practice in New York and Connecticut and before the United States Supreme Court and several other federal courts and is qualified as a registered foreign lawyer in England and Wales.

 

Greg Freeman

Greg Freeman currently serves as the Vice President for corporate development at Celanese, a position which he has held since May, 2010.  Prior to Celanese, Greg has more than 20 years experience in the chemical and specialty materials sectors with significant experience in all global regions.  He served in a variety of roles for 10 years with the Construction Products division of W.R. Grace, both in the U.S. and in Europe.  From 2007-2010 he served as Vice President and General Manager for the Europe, Middle East, Africa and India region of Grace Construction Products.  Prior to Grace, Greg spent over six years with Honeywell where he served in a variety of business roles in the Specialty Plastic Films division.  He started his career in sales of compounded and specialty plastics.

Greg received his Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biochemistry & Biophysics from Yale, and a dual diploma degree MBA and MSChE from the University of Pennsylvania.  He currently resides with his family in Dallas, Texas.

 

Randy Haase

Randal W. Haase is Vice-President of Corporate Development, Mergers & Acquisitions at MetLife.  Randal is responsible for sourcing, executing and negotiating acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and strategic investments for MetLife’s International Businesses.  He has experience in transactions in five continents, ranging in size from $5 million to $16 billion. 

Randal began his MetLife career in 1991 in the Internal Audit Department in Dallas, and relocated to New York in 1994.  He joined the M & A Department and was appointed an Officer in 1996.  Prior to joining MetLife, Randal worked eight years at Deloitte & Touche and two years at a Fortune 500 oil & gas company.

Trace Harris

Trace Harris is Senior Vice President, Strategy & Development, Media at Vivendi, whose holdings include Universal Music Group, Activision Blizzard, Canal+ Group, mobile phone operator SFR, Brazilian telecom operator GVT, and a minority interest in NBC Universal.  She is Vivendi’s senior corporate development executive in the United States focusing on corporate strategy, major acquisitions and divestitures, and daily relationship with various US holdings.  Ms. Harris is based in New York and has held this position for 9 years.

Previously, Ms. Harris was Senior Vice President of Strategic Development for the Television Group of Universal Studios based in Los Angeles.  She was responsible for developing and implementing operating and new business strategies for Universal Television in key European territories.  In addition, she was responsible for designing and launching Universal’s first international television network.  Prior to Universal Studios, Ms. Harris worked in Strategy and subsequently International Television at Warner Bros, where she worked on the launch of Warner Bros.’ first international television channel in Latin America.  She started her career in finance with JP Morgan in New York.

Ms. Harris has represented Vivendi, Universal Studios and Warner Bros., in several joint ventures and brings a strong background in partnership management.  In addition, she participates on the boards of Universal Music Group and NBC Universal.

Soyoung has been a journalist for the past decade, starting with Reuters in Seoul, South Korea. Courtney Leimkuhler

Courtney Hall Leimkuhler is a Senior Vice President and co-head of Corporate Strategy at NYSE Euronext, where she partners with senior leadership across business lines to develop and execute the company’s strategy.  Ms. Leimkuhler has helped to launch various organic growth initiatives for NYSE Euronext and also evaluates and executes all M&A and other investment opportunities.  She is a member of the company’s U.S. operating committee, investment committee, and steering group for college recruiting. She also serves on the boards of three NYSE Euronext joint-ventures in the futures, options and environmental markets.  Ms. Leimkuhler reports to the company’s Chief Executive Officer.

Anne T. Madden joined AlliedSignal in June 1996 as the General Counsel, Fluorine Products.  In December 1996, she became the Vice President and General Counsel of Specialty Chemicals.  In July 2000, she became Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, responsible for all of the legal affairs of the Specialty Materials businesses of the combined AlliedSignal/Honeywell International (now called Honeywell).  In January 2002, Anne became Vice President, Corporate Development and Global Head M&A for Honeywell, leading Honeywell’s acquisition and divestiture activities on a global basis.  Anne was the recipient of Honeywell’s Premier Achievement Award for Individual Performance in 1997, was the recipient of Honeywell’s Senior Leadership Award for 2005 and was recognized as a ‘Woman Worth Watching’ by Profiles in Diversity Magazine in 2011.

Geoffrey Martha

Geoffrey S. Martha will join Medtronic as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Development effective August 29, 2011. In his role, Geoff will have responsibility for leading the development of Medtronic’s global strategic plan, business development and acquisition integration for the company.

Brian McDonagh

Brian P. McDonagh is Managing Director and Co-Head of Baird's overall global M&A practice.  In this role, he works across all of Baird's industry groups to lead the execution and provide expert senior tactical and process strategy advice on many of the firm's most important advisory transactions.  In addition, he plays an active senior banker role with many of Baird's key clients and is a member of the firm's Management and Fairness Opinion committees.  Mr. McDonagh has over 25 years of experience in the global M&A market, through which he has developed extensive experience in originating and executing a broad range of strategic transactions for publicly-traded, sponsor-owned and privately-owned middle market companies across a wide variety of industries, including consumer, industrial, health care, business services, real estate, energy and technology.

John Paffenbarger

John Paffenbarger manages strategic initiatives and analyses within the Corporate Strategy and Development group of Constellation Energy, including acquisitions and divestitures of power plants and other businesses. He has led Constellation’s active participation in over $2 billion worth of plant acquisitions and sales, most recently Constellation’s purchase of two gas-fired power plants in Texas.

Prior to joining Constellation in 2002, Dr. Paffenbarger was Director of Strategic Planning at Orion Power Holdings, where he was responsible for market and financial analysis of power plant acquisitions, greenfield development projects and plant capital investment projects.

From 1995 to 2000, Dr. Paffenbarger was Principal Administrator for Electricity at the International Energy Agency, an inter-governmental organization located in Paris, France, which provides energy information and coordinates energy policy among the developed countries. Prior to the IEA, Dr. Paffenbarger held senior project management and engineering positions at Bechtel Group, France’s National Coal Company, and Westinghouse Science and Technology Center.

Kristin Peck

Kristin Peck is Executive Vice President, Worldwide Business Development and Innovation for Pfizer Inc and a member of Pfizer’s Executive Leadership Team. In this role, Ms. Peck is responsible for Pfizer’s merger and acquisition, licensing, venture capital, alliance management and business model innovation activities.

In her Business Development role over the last year, Ms. Peck has overseen the completion of numerous deals, including recent ones involving King Pharmaceuticals, FoldRx, Biocon and Teuto.  She also led the team that launched a first-of-its-kind enterprise-wide, web-based platform focused on innovation to harness the creative energies and insights of Pfizer colleagues to drive continued growth at Pfizer.

Prior to joining Pfizer, Ms. Peck was a principal with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), focusing on strategy and merger-related issues in the pharmaceutical and financial services industries. Before BCG, Ms. Peck worked in private equity and real estate finance at Prudential, The O’Connor Group and J.P. James Prevost

Jim Prevost is Vice President of Acquisitions & Divestitures for the Procter & Gamble Company.  In this role, he is responsible for all acquisition, divestiture, and equity venture/partnership transactions worldwide.  He is also active in the Company’s Connect + Develop innovation and new business development programs.

Jim joined Procter & Gamble in 1985 as a financial analyst in the Packaged Soap & Detergent Division.  He progressed through a series of assignments in plant accounting, cost management, and financial analysis & planning, and became Finance Manager of US Laundry Products in 1991.

In 1993, he moved to P&G’s Marketing function, working on the Tide laundry detergent brand, and became Brand Manager of Light Duty Detergents in 1996.

Jim returned to the Finance function in 1997 as the Company’s Director of Investor Relations.  In 1999, he moved to Geneva, Switzerland as Finance Director of Feminine Care Products in Europe.  In 2001, he was appointed head of Finance for P&G’s $7 billion Global Baby Care business, including the Pampers brand worldwide.

He became Director of Corporate Acquisitions & Divestitures in 2005 and was named Vice President in 2007.

Jim began his career with the General Electric Company in 1981.

He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Dartmouth College.

Julian Pritchard is a corporate partner, based in our New York office, and is the regional managing partner for our US practice. He advises clients primarily in the area of complex cross-border mergers and acquisitions and has worked in the firm's London, Tokyo and New York offices.  
 
Julian's experience includes advising on the acquisition of Morton Salt by K S AG from Rohm and Haas, following its merger with Dow Chemical; the sale of Arysta Lifescience Corporation to Permira; the investment by Goldman Sachs, SMBC and Daiwa SMBC in Sanyo Electric; the spinoff by BT Group of O2 its cell phone business; the joint venture between BT Group and KDDI; Brascan’s contested offer for Canary Wharf and Reed Elsevier’s proposed merger with Wolters Kluwer.
 
Julian is qualified as an attorney in New York and is a solicitor in England and Wales. He was educated at Jesus College, Cambridge, where he received a double first-class degree in law. He joined the firm in 1993 and became a partner in 2002.

 

Marie Quintero-Johnson

Marie D. Quintero-Johnson is Vice President and Director, Mergers & Acquisitions, Insights & Corporate Real Estate for The Coca-Cola Company.  In her role she manages a team of 20 professionals responsible for evaluating and executing all merger, acquisition and divestiture transactions of the Corporation on a global level, as well as overseeing competitive Insights and Corporate Real Estate.  She assumed her current position in March 2002 after spending three years as Executive Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer where she was an integral part of assisting the Company in implementing strategic opportunities.

Marie joined the Company in July 1992 as a principal financial analyst focusing on Latin America.  Since that time she has moved through the Company’s Finance organization to positions of increasing responsibility, including the Controllers’ Group, Treasury, and Business Development for Latin America.  Prior to joining the Company and obtaining her graduate degree,  Marie spent 2 years with Coopers & Lybrand as an audit associate.

Ms. Quintero-Johnson received her Masters in Business Administration from the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration, University of Virginia.  She received her Bachelors of Science in Accounting, International Business from Georgetown University. 

Ms. Quintero-Johnson is a Certified Public Accountant and a native of Miami, Florida.

 

Daniel Raskas

Daniel Raskas joined Danaher in 2004 as head of the Corporate Development team.  He manages a corporate team of M&A professionals, with oversight for the business development specialists throughout Danaher.  Daniel leads his team through all aspects of M&A and investment activity, including identification, cultivation, valuation, due diligence, contract strategy and negotiations. 

Prior to joining Danaher, Daniel was a partner at Thayer Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused on buyout and growth equity investments in the middle market.

Daniel has a J.D. from Harvard Law School and a Masters of International Affairs from Columbia University.

 

Anton Sahazizian

Anton Sahazizian is a Managing Director at Moelis & Company. Mr. Sahazizian has extensive experience advising clients on mergers & acquisitions and was most recently a Managing Director in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at UBS Investment Bank in New York. Mr. Sahazizian worked at UBS for nearly 10 years, and in his most recent role was the senior banker responsible for the origination and execution of M&A transactions for some of the largest global industrials companies in the chemicals, capital goods, paper, packaging, forest products and energy sectors. He advised on numerous high-profile strategic M&A transactions within the sector and was responsible for related coverage of corporate clients as well as private equity firms. Mr. Sahazizian started his investment banking career in the Los Angeles office of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and was one of the founders of UBS' Los Angeles office and their Exclusive Sales and Divestitures Group. Previously, he was a securities lawyer in Toronto, Canada, with McMillan Binch and Goodman and Carr.

Mr. Sahazizian holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario. He also graduated from Queen's University Law School in Kingston, Ontario and holds an M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

 

Roger Sawhney

Roger Sawhney is currently the Head of Corporate Strategy and an SVP with Novartis International in Basel, Switzerland.  At Novartis, Roger leads the Group's long-range planning and strategy activities, including the evaluation of M&A and business development opportunities, and the development of organic growth plans and priorities.  He has led diverse topics ranging from emerging markets strategy to eHealth strategy to the next generation go to market model.

Prior to joining Novartis, Roger served as a Partner and Managing Director with the Boston Consulting Group in Washington D.C.

Before joining Boston Consulting Group in July 1996, Roger successfully founded his own companies: In 1999 he built a CRM technology company and founded Avatar Capital, a USD 15m early-stage venture fund in 2000.

Prior to his entrepreneurial career, Roger gained experience within the medical sector: Between 1994 and 1996 he first supported the Massachusetts General Hospital as a Strategic Planning Associate and afterwards joined the Beth Israel Hospital in Boston as a medical intern.

Roger, who holds a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University as well as an M.D. from Harvard Medical School, brings a broad strategy and operational background as well as deep medical and entrepreneurial experience to his work and outlook on innovation.

 

Naren Srinivasan

Mr. Naren Srinivasan is Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development for the Hertz Corporation, and is based in the company’s headquarters in Park Ridge, New Jersey.  Naren leads the development, execution and alignment of Hertz’s corporate strategic plan.  He also leads global corporate development, which includes mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, joint ventures, minority interests, and divestitures.

Prior to joining Hertz, Naren worked in a number of roles involving M&A, strategy, finance and corporate development at the investment banks of Dillon Read, Evercore Partners, Rothschild, UBS and most recently, at the packaging firm of MeadWestvaco where he was Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy.  Naren holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics/Finance and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business and a Masters of Business Administration from Columbia University.

Aileen Stockburger

Aileen Stockburger is the Vice President of Worldwide Business Development for the DePuy Orthopaedics group at Johnson & Johnson. In this position, she oversees the group’s licensing and acquisition activities, including deal structuring, negotiations, contract design and review, and deal terms. Most recently she led Johnson & Johnson’s efforts to acquire Synthes for approximately $21BN, Johnson & Johnson’s largest acquisition.

Prior to DePuy, Stockburger coordinated and led the BD efforts for the Medical Devices & Diagnostics companies of Johnson & Johnson.

In 1999, she was promoted to Vice President of Worldwide Mergers and Acquisitions for the Johnson & Johnson Consumer Group, where she managed numerous high-profile deals, including the acquisitions of Pfizer Consumer HealthCare, BabyCenter, and OraPharma Inc.

She joined Johnson & Johnson Professional Inc. in 1996 as Director of Marketplace Information. During her time at JJPI, she initiated and supported business development activities, including the acquisition of DePuy. Additionally, she was responsible for competitive intelligence, market research, and the financial analysis of merger and acquisition transactions.

In 1995, Stockburger joined Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems as Finance Director for Business Development, where she worked on the organization’s first acquisition of a consulting firm.

In 1991, she was named Associate Director of Finance for Mergers and Acquisitions at Johnson & Johnson corporate headquarters, where she was involved in deals including Neutrogena, Clinical Diagnostics, and Mitek.

Stockburger joined the Johnson & Johnson family of companies in 1989 at McNeil Consumer Products.

Before joining Johnson & Johnson, Stockburger spent three years at Coopers and Lybrand, where she earned her CPA certification. She received her BS and MBA from the Wharton School.

He has worked with many of our most significant strategic and private equity clients, leading due diligence services for domestic and international transactions. In connection with this work, Andy has also developed significant expertise in helping companies maximize the value of dispositions through effective sell-side due diligence.  Andy leads our U.S. Divestiture Services team within our M&A Transaction Services practice.

In addition to specializing in sell-side assistance, Andy also serves as our national M&A Automotive TS leader.  Andy’s experience also covers a broad range of industries, including industrial products and chemical, as well as general manufacturing, distribution and services.
