Summary:
Anemic job growth in the US, the ongoing slowdown in the global economy, sovereign credit and bank debt crises in Europe, as well as continued softness in the real estate markets, and volatile credit markets may pave the way for new opportunities for distressed investors in 2012. Is Europe looking more promising for distressed opportunities or are the risks outweighing the potential rewards? What are the outlooks on the “wall of debt”, is it an empty threat? Will the continued slow growth in the US spawn new investment opportunities in the middle market? How is the political and regulatory environment going to affect investors? Are private equity portfolio companies the next “green field” for distressed investing? What is the outlook for investment opportunities in the CMBS market? These are amongst the topics to be addressed on January 25th, when Argyle Executive Forum presents its 6th annual Leadership in the Distressed Markets meeting, taking place in Manhattan.
The event will bring together a select group of 100-115 senior investment professionals focused on the distressed space, buyout and bankruptcy deal makers, institutional investors, CEOs & Board members of public and private large cap and mid cap corporations, complementary areas of executive leadership (CFOs & COOs), and select advisory firms. The event is single track, with scheduled networking breaks throughout the day.
Argyle meetings are by invitation only. If you did not receive an invitation but would like to inquire about attendance, please click here.
