Tom Angell
Principal
Rothstein Kass

Tom Angell is the principal-in-charge of Rothstein Kass’ national Commercial Services Group and its Private Equity practice, and he is a member of the Firm’s Executive Committee.

Tom has extensive experience with both public and private companies, including advising private equity funds and investment advisors on all aspects of private equity transactions, such as raising financing, deal origination and structuring. He has over 25 years of experience providing audit, tax and consulting services to middle market businesses in the manufacturing, distribution, and service industries. Additionally, Tom specializes in organizational structure, operational issues and mergers and acquisitions for middle market businesses.

Tom is a certified public accountant and he is a member of the New Jersey, New York, and Virginia Societies of Certified Public Accountants as well as the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Rutgers College and a Master of Business Administration degree in Information Systems from the Rutgers Graduate School of Management.

His activities outside the Firm include membership in and serving as a former chair of the AICPA Large Firm networking group. Tom also serves as a treasurer to the Drumthwacket Foundation in New Jersey.

 

Harry Chisholm

Harry is a partner of GenNx360 Capital Partners. He brings over 23 years of hands-on experience providing operational leadership and management within world-class business environments, establishing a vision and executing plans to meet business objectives.

Prior to joining GenNx360, Harry was the COO of Nantong Xingchen Synthetic Material Company - Blue Star, a subsidiary of Chem China in the Jiangsu province of China, where he had full P&L responsibility for the $300MM maker of engineering plastics. He was one of the first foreign executives hired directly into a China state-owned enterprise and was nominated as one of China's "1000 Talents", a program designed to encourage the entrepreneurial and business development of China businesses. He began his career in 1989 at GE, where he held numerous executive and operational leadership roles in GE Plastics, GE Healthcare, and with Sabic Innovative Plastics.

Harry received his MBA from the A.B. Freeman School of Business, Tulane University, and his Bachelor of Engineering in Materials Science and Engineering from The University of Florida.

 

Blinn Cirella

Saw Mill Capital LLC

Blinn Cirella joined Saw Mill Capital LLC in 2006 as Financial Officer. Saw Mill is a middle market private equity firm that targets industrial manufacturing and service companies with enterprise values of $25-$200 million. She is responsible for accounting, investor reporting, audit and tax preparation, day-to-day operations, compliance, as well as various other administrative functions.

Prior to joining Saw Mill, Blinn was a Director at Bisys Private Equity Services Inc. a fund administrator, where she was responsible for managing the accounting and administrative functions for a large institutional client. From 1998 – 2004, Blinn was the Controller of Commonfund Capital Inc. and was responsible for overseeing the accounting and reporting functions for numerous fund-of-funds across several asset classes. Prior to Commonfund Capital, Blinn was the Director of Finance and Administration of Orien Ventures, Inc., a small venture capital firm.

Blinn earned her B.S. in Accounting, magna cum laude, from Sacred Heart University. She has passed the series 7, 63 and CPA exams.

 

Bruce Eatroff

Mr. Eatroff is a founding partner of Halyard Capital, a New York based private equity fund with over $600 million of assets under management. Halyard Capital focuses on creating value within the Information and Knowledge economies through thesis-driven investments. Halyard invests in Technology-enabled Information, Data Analytics, Communications and Business Services companies. Mr. Eatroff has a broad spectrum of private equity investing experience including Traditional and Interactive Marketing Services, Education, IT Services, Telecommunications, Cable, Publishing and Broadcasting. He represents Halyard on the Boards of EducationDynamics, Engauge, Datamyx and NuLink and previously sat on the Boards of Presidio Networks, Hanley Wood, impreMedia and TRANZACT. Mr. Eatroff has been a featured speaker and panelist at over seventy industry events and conferences. He has over twenty years of Wall Street experience including senior positions at Goldman Sachs, UBS Securities, CIBC World Markets and BMO Capital Markets. Mr. Eatroff received an M.B.A. from The Wharton School and a B.A. with honors from Lafayette College.

 

Steven Morgenthal

Mr. Morgenthal joined Argosy Partners in January, 2007 and is responsible for participating with the Argosy team in evaluating potential investments, as well as, working with portfolio companies to grow shareholder value through improved strategic planning and operational effectiveness. Prior to joining Argosy, Mr. Morgenthal was a venture partner with SCP Private Equity and was CEO for multiple SCP portfolio companies. Prior to SCP, Mr. Morgenthal was a senior executive with a number of private and public companies, including Unified Systems Solutions, a diversified information technology firm which he co-founded, managed as chief operating officer and successfully sold to Computer Horizons. Mr. Morgenthal holds a Masters Degree from Stevens Institute of Technology and a Bachelors of Science from Pace University.

 

Jeffrey Somers

Jeff Somers is a principal at Rothstein Kass. Jeff specializes in audit, tax and consulting engagements for public and private companies, including venture capital funds, hedge funds, fund of funds, private equity funds, management companies, registered investment advisors and broker-dealers. He also has expertise in analyzing clients’ determination of fair value of debt and equity investments and is often called upon by his clients to consult on deal structuring, deal origination and capital raising.

Additionally, Jeff has been the lead principal on over 40 registration statements and over 20 successful initial public offerings (IPOs), which raised in excess of four billion dollars. The majority of these IPOs were Special Purpose Acquisition Companies (SPACs or Public Search Funds) sponsored by the investment community. Jeff also has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, reverse mergers and private placements.  

Jeff is a certified public accountant in Massachusetts, New Jersey and New York. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and a member of The National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA).
