Tuesday, March 6, 2012
New York, NY
Argyle Executive Forum will bring together members of our Investment Management and Hedge Fund Communities for breakfast and informal roundtable discussions. This member breakfast will help determine and drive the topics/trends the membership will address through our meetings and publications during the coming months. Topics may include:
- What effects will the European banking crisis have on the global financial system?
- Will emerging markets provide the necessary returns for investors given the level of risk and uncertainty in global markets?
- What is the outlook for investment in the BRIC countries over the next couple of years?
- The role of alternative investments in portfolio construction: Is integration into traditional asset classes the new paradigm?
- How can portfolios be constructed to account for extreme events?
- What role does active management play in a macro-driven environment?
- How will the growth of ETFs change the playing field for active fixed-income managers?
- Which asset allocation strategies make sense given the continuing volatility and uncertainty in global markets?
