Summary:
Despite recoveries in the market, institutional investors remain cautious. As we move into 2011 investors continue to pay attention to key issues surrounding attractive vs. non-performing asset classes, understanding and managing portfolio risk, adjusting their return assumptions, maintaining liquidity, and finding objective and stringent due diligence practices. Finally, with the dynamic and ongoing relationship between international markets and the US, it remains clear that maintaining a global outlook and investment strategy has great value for investors in the next year and beyond.
On December 8th Argyle Executive Forum and ING Investment Management will co-host an Investor Outlook breakfast for our endowment, foundation and pension fund membership to address and share concerns, outlooks, and best practices for the coming year.
