Danny Phillips
President & CEO

Danny became Argyle’s President in 2014, bringing more than 20 years experience managing conferences, continuing education events, tradeshows, consumer events, B2B marketing services, and digital and print content platforms in the US, Europe, South America, and Asia. 

Prior to joining Argyle, Danny ran Present Sky, a media consultancy specializing in business development and M&A services, having previously served as Executive Vice President for 16 years at Advanstar Communications, one of the nation’s largest B2B event companies. He was responsible for operating divisions serving the healthcare, auto, motorcycle, IT, telecom, entertainment, and marketing sectors. 

Danny was born in the UK, studied at Anglia Ruskin University and moved to the United States in 1997. His businesses have won numerous ABM Neal Awards, including Business Website of the Year, and he is an avid soccer fan, motorcycle rider, and die-hard vinyl collector in his spare time. 

Scott Kenerly
Chief Financial Officer

Scott joined Argyle as CFO in October 2015, and brings more than 15 years of finance and accounting experience to the role. After beginning his career in accounting and investment banking, Scott has spent the past six years specifically tailoring his skillset as the senior financial officer at several high-growth companies in media and technology. 

Most recently Scott was the VP Finance at ThreatGRID, Inc., a cybersecurity startup that was acquired by Cisco Systems, Inc. in June 2014.  After spending a year integrating ThreatGRID in to Cisco, Scott left to join Argyle and the high-growth environment he prefers. 

He received his MBA from New York University, and has degrees in Economics (BA) and Accounting (MA) from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. Scott lives in Brooklyn, NY and spends his downtime playing guitar, listening to music and watching UNC basketball.

Fred Ibarra
Vice President of Marketing

Fred leads Argyle’s marketing team, with responsibility for the multi-channel outreach to engage our membership and drive lead generation.  With a background in financial services and media, Fred brings 15 years of experience in strategy, direct marketing and branding to support the revenue goals of growth companies.  


Joe Rosenbaum
Vice President of Human Resources

Joe brings fourteen years of hands-on Human Resource operations experience to Argyle. Throughout his career, Joe has been successful in many facets of HR: employee relations, training and development, and succession planning and recruitment. He is a team leader who has experience with all levels within an organization. 

Joe came to Argyle from ALTOUR International where he was the Vice President of Human Resources. Prior to joining ALTOUR in 2001, Joe was with Mattel’s American Girl Place. Upon graduating from Purdue University with a B.S. in Business Management, Joe began his career in Human Resources with Lord & Taylor and later moved on to Bloomingdale's. 

Joe is currently wrapping up his Masters of Science in Organizational Change Management at the New School. He lives in Jersey City with his partner Shane, a 12-year old pug named Bruno, and a Himalayan cat known as Kanye West.

Tim Skennion
Vice President of Sales

Tim is responsible for leading Argyle’s Revenue organization encompassing Sales, Client Services and Revenue Operations functions, where he draws on his 15 years of experience in building and leading revenue organizations for high growth companies. 

Prior to joining Argyle in 2012, Tim held senior management positions with Return Path, where he served as the Vice President of Customer Acquisition Solutions and Infogroup, where as General Manager he led the digital media sales and client development organizations. A startup veteran, he contributed as part of the executive team of NetCreations, leading to their acquisition by Return Path, and dlvr.it, a digital content management platform where he managed the firm's corporate development efforts.

An upstate New York native, Tim received his degree from the University of Buffalo and currently resides in Hoboken, NJ. 

Dan Cannici
Director of Meeting Management & Operations

Dan is the Director of Argyle’s Meeting Management and Operations team.  In this role he oversees a team that manages the logistics, scheduling, and planning of Argyle’s diverse event portfolio.  He also works closely with the finance department on forecasting, spend control, and vendor negotiations.

Dan started with Argyle in May 2011 as a Junior Associate on the MM&O team, and has worked his way through the department to his current position.  Prior to Argyle Dan worked at Madison Square Garden in sales, and held event and operations roles with the LPGA and in minor league baseball.  Dan attended the University of Delaware where he received his BA in Sport Management with a minor in Legal Studies.

Dan lives in Hoboken, NJ with his wife Kathryn and Chihuahua/Jack Russell mix Happy.  He is an avid Giants and Yankees fan and in his spare time enjoys running, hiking, and listening to stand-up comedy.

Lauren Everhart
Director of Account Management

Originally a member of Argyle's Content & Programming Department, Lauren has been with Argyle since 2008. Since then she has been instrumental in developing Argyle’s Client Services function and now leads the Account Management team.

In this role Lauren manages the client experience and service delivery for our content and event Partners. She and her team are responsible for driving growth aligned with our client's business goals and objectives by delivering unmatched service and finding innovative ways to make connections on behalf of our Partners. 

A New York City native, Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Albany and a J.D. from New York Law School. 

Gerry Marletta
Director of Technology Operations

Gerry got his start at Argyle in 2008, working with the Membership and Business Development teams before moving into his current position. As the head of Argyle’s Data & Analytics department, Gerry serves a vital role crossing all departments to identify how technology and data can empower us to better serve our Members and Partners.

In this position, Gerry oversees the execution of research for all of Argyle's business events, day-to-day management of Argyle's CRM system, and generation of quantitative sales and marketing analytics. In addition, Gerry works with technology consultants to provide an optimized, unified experience for staff and clients to interact with Argyle's business data. 

Gerry holds a Bachelor of Music from Berklee College of Music, participates in theatre as a sound designer, and continues to write, record, and perform live music.

Lauren Meyer
Director of Content

Lauren joined Argyle’s content team in 2011, and has since played an integral role in establishing and growing the department’s content strategy across Argyle’s core memberships.

In her current role, Lauren leads the creation and delivery of unique, valuable content throughout Argyle’s portfolio of conferences and events. She and her team are responsible for managing relationships with our expansive range of speakers, advisors, and content partners, and curating engaging content aligned with the C-suite’s most pressing challenges and opportunities.

Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Brown University. Originally from Oakland, California, she enjoys making frequent trips to West Coast and doing any and everything outdoors. Lauren is also a New York City Recycling Volunteer and enjoys nagging her colleagues to recycle.
