Although the bear economy has kept recent deal activity at a stand still, an increase in merger and acquisition activity is expected to coincide with the up tick in the economy. The dealscape of even one year ago is radically different from today’s, necessitating discussion as to where new opportunities will be found and how best to capitalize on them.
