Larry C. Boyd is senior vice president, secretary and general counsel for Ingram Micro Inc. Ingram is the world’s largest distributor of information technology products and services. Boyd leads a team of legal professionals located in Brussels, Munich, Singapore, Shanghai, Sydney, Chennai, Miami, Mexico City, and Southern California, and manages all legal aspects for Ingram’s global operations, from contract negotiations and employment issues to regulatory compliance and corporate disclosure requirements. He was promoted to this position in March 2004.
Boyd joined Ingram Micro in January 2000 as senior vice president, U.S. legal services. Prior to Ingram Micro, he was a partner with Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher where he practiced as a litigator for 22 years.
A 1977 graduate of Stanford Law School, Boyd also earned his bachelor's degree in political science from Stanford University. He is a member of the State Bar of California, the American Bar Association and the Orange County Bar Association.

Lockheed Martin Corporation
Jim Comey has been Senior Vice President and General Counsel of the Lockheed Martin Corporation since October 3, 2005. He is responsible for management of the Corporation’s legal affairs and law department, including serving as principal counsel to Lockheed Martin Corporation’s senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
From 2003 through 2005, he served as Deputy Attorney General of the United States and was responsible for supervising the operations of the Department of Justice. Prior to becoming Deputy Attorney General, Mr. Comey was United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York. From 1996 through 2001, Mr. Comey served as Managing Assistant U.S. Attorney in charge of the Richmond Division of the United States Attorney's office for the Eastern District of Virginia.
Mr. Comey was educated at the College of William & Mary (B.S. with Honors 1982, Chemistry and Religion majors) and the University of Chicago Law School (J.D. 1985). After law school, he served as a law clerk for then-United States District Judge John M. Walker, Jr. in Manhattan, and worked for Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher in their New York Office. He next joined the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York, where he worked from 1987 to 1993, eventually serving as Deputy Chief of the Criminal Division.
As United States Attorney, Mr. Comey oversaw numerous terrorism cases and supervised prosecutions of executives of WorldCom, Adelphia, and Imclone on fraud and securities-related charges. Mr. Comey also created a specialized unit devoted to prosecuting international drug cartels. As Deputy Attorney General, he chaired the President’s Corporate Fraud Task Force and the Presidential Board on Safeguarding Americans’ Civil Liberties.
As an Assistant United States Attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia, he handled the Khobar Towers terrorist bombing case, arising out of the June 1996 attack on a U.S. military facility in Saudi Arabia in which 19 Airmen were killed. He has personally investigated and prosecuted a wide variety of cases, including firearms, narcotics, major frauds, violent crime, public corruption, terrorism, and organized crime. In the Southern District of New York, he served as lead prosecutor in United States v. John Gambino et al., a six-month mafia racketeering and murder trial in 1993.
While in Richmond, Mr. Comey also served as an Adjunct Professor of law at the University of Richmond. Prior to joining the U.S. Attorney's office in Richmond in 1996, he was a partner at McGuireWoods, LLP specializing in criminal defense and commercial litigation.
Mr. Comey is married and has five children.

Jonathan P. Ferrando

Jonathan P. Ferrando, 41, is Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of AutoNation, Inc., the largest automotive retailer in the United States and a Fortune 500 company. In his position, Mr. Ferrando is responsible for AutoNation's legal affairs, including corporate governance issues, securities law matters, regulatory matters, mergers and acquisitions, litigation, government relations, compliance and business ethics and the complete range of corporate legal activities. Mr. Ferrando also oversees AutoNation’s human resources organization, the labor relations function and health and welfare benefits.
Mr. Ferrando joined AutoNation in July 1996 and served in various capacities within AutoNation’s Legal Department, prior to his appointment as General Counsel in January 2000.
Prior to joining AutoNation, Mr. Ferrando was a corporate attorney in Chicago, Illinois with Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, a corporate law firm, from 1991 until 1996. Mr. Ferrando’s practice at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom was concentrated in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance.
A native of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Mr. Ferrando graduated from the University of Michigan in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Harvard Law School in 1991.
Mr. Ferrando is married to Katy Ferrando. They have three children, Emily, Jack and Isabelle.

Thomas McCoy

Tom is Executive Vice President, Legal Affairs, and Chief Administrative Officer at AMD. His current leadership responsibilities include legal, corporate strategy and development, international policy, government and community affairs, employee culture and communications, and corporate services.
During his tenure at AMD, he has also had leadership responsibility for human resources, public relations and information technology.
Tom joined AMD in January 1995, and was Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary until 2003. Prior to AMD, he spent 17 years at O'Melveny & Myers, one of the largest and most prestigious law firms in the U.S., where he specialized in business litigation.
Tom holds an undergraduate degree in history from Stanford University and a law degree from the University of Southern California. He clerked for the 9th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals, served on the board of directors of the Western Center on Law and Poverty, and co-founded the California General Counsel’s Association. He is a frequent speaker on the principles and responsibilities of leadership.

Michael Oxley, former Congressman and Chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, serves clients in the areas of corporate governance, investigations and government policy. After a 25-year career representing Ohio's Fourth Congressional District, Mr. Oxley is best known for his co-authorship of the landmark Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, which restored Americans' confidence in the capital markets and created a new accounting oversight board for publicly traded companies.
In addition to his position with Baker Hostetler, Mr. Oxley also serves as Vice Chairman of The Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc.
While in Congress, Mr. Oxley backed pro-business, low-tax, pro-competition and free trade positions as the best policy atmosphere to support strong economic growth. He is a well-known advocate for free trade agreements and international business engagement and has consistently backed the nation's law enforcement, intelligence agencies and military in the fights against drugs, crime and terrorism.
From 2001 through 2006, Mr. Oxley served as Chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, which in 2001 consolidated the jurisdiction of all financial services industries in one panel for the first time in the history of the House. The Committee's scope included banking, insurance, securities and exchanges, housing and monetary policy.
At Baker Hostetler, Mr. Oxley is part of the Government Policy Group, which represents multinational and corporate clients seeking to resolve or avert problems related to federal and/or state policy through legislative or administrative solutions. The team includes former members of Congress, a former U.S. Ambassador, senior executive branch officials and state legislators.
Additionally, Mr. Oxley assists private and public companies with establishing governance policies and compliance programs, as well as with confidential investigations related to noncompliance concerns. He also supports the firm's premier White Collar Defense and Corporate Investigations Practice, which represents clients involved with complex white collar crime, regulatory investigations and litigation. The practice team has represented top tier banking and investment firms by establishing monitorship programs in conjunction with government regulators in accordance with best practice standards.
A member of the House Energy and Commerce Committee from 1983 to 2001, Mr. Oxley is well-known for his knowledge of federal telecommunications and energy policy. Prior to his election to Congress in 1981, he was a special agent of the FBI and a member of the Ohio General Assembly. Previously, he practiced law with the firm Oxley, Malone, Fitzgerald and Hollister in Findlay, Ohio.

Laureen E. Seeger is Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of McKesson Corporation. As the corporation’s chief legal officer, Seeger oversees the Law Department for McKesson and its subsidiaries. Prior to her appointment in March 2006, Seeger was Vice President and General Counsel of McKesson Provider Technologies (MPT), McKesson’s healthcare information technology solutions business.
Prior to McKesson, Seeger was with the Atlanta law firm of Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP from 1992 to 2000, where she was Partner-In-Charge of the Technology Litigation Section, and was with the firm of Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue from 1986 to 1992. She earned a law degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1986 and received a bachelor of business administration degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 1983.

Eileen Simon

As a Group Executive, Associate General Counsel at MasterCard Worldwide, Eileen Simon is responsible for managing the defense of complex commercial litigation for MasterCard. In addition, her team provides legal support to global client groups in the marketing, product, and merchant relationship areas. She helped create the Enterprise Risk Management function at MasterCard, and advises on regulatory strategy and legal issues relating to payment system integrity.
Previously, Ms. Simon’s responsibilities included management of the compliance function, including anti-money laundering, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, Office of Foreign Asset Control and privacy matters. She also supervised investigations of fraud and misconduct.
Before joining MasterCard in June of 1999, Ms. Simon practiced law at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP in New York City, where she concentrated in antitrust law and litigation.
Ms. Simon is on the Board of Directors of the Westchester/Fairfield Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel and previously co-chaired its Antitrust and Trade Regulation Committee. She is a member of the Executive Committee of the New York State Bar Association Antitrust Section.
Ms. Simon graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the Wharton School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She received her J.D. from New York University School of Law, where she was elected to Order of Barristers and served on the Executive Board of Moot Court. Ms. Simon is admitted to practice law in New York and Connecticut.

Maura Abeln Smith

Maura Abeln Smith joined International Paper in 2003 as Senior Vice President, and General Counsel, and later was named Corporate Secretary. She is responsible for management of the company’s legal affairs and global law department, as well as serving as chief legal counsel to the company’s senior leadership and board of directors. She also has responsibility for the company’s global government relations organization.
Prior to joining International Paper, Ms. Smith was Senior Vice President, Chief Restructuring Officer, General Counsel and Secretary of Owens Corning, a global building materials company located in Toledo, Ohio. She was also a member of the Owens Corning Board of Directors. Prior to joining Owens Corning in 1998, Ms. Smith had been Vice President and General Counsel of GE Plastics in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, which she joined as general counsel in 1991. From 1987 to 1991 she was a partner in the law firm of Baker & McKenzie, and from 1982 to 1987, she was an associate at the law firm of Steel Hector & Davis; both law firms were located in Miami, Florida.
Ms. Smith is a 1977 Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Vassar College, with an undergraduate major in economics. She received her Master of Philosophy degree in economics from Oxford University in 1979 where she was a Rhodes Scholar. She earned her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law in 1982 with honors, which she attended as a John M. Olin Fellow in Law & Economics.
Ms. Smith is admitted to practice in Florida and Tennessee. She is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel, the American Bar Association, and the Florida and Tennessee Bar Association. In 2006, she was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Memphis Shelby Crime Commission. She also serves on the General Counsel Committee of the National Center for State Courts. She is married and has two grown children.
