Robert C. Ammerman is a Founder and the Managing Partner of Capital Resource Partners.  Capital Resource Partners was established in Boston, Mass., in 1987 and manages over $1 billion in five middle market-focused mezzanine debt funds.  The mezzanine funds to date have provided subordinated debt and preferred stock to approximately 100 privately held companies in a broad range of industries and locales.

Prior to founding CRP in 1987, Mr. Ammerman was a General Partner of Advanced Technology Ventures, a private equity partnership specializing in equity investments in early stage private companies.  Prior to ATV, he was a Vice President of BT Capital, a Small Business Investment Company (SBIC), wholly owned subsidiary of Bankers Trust Company which specialized in leveraged buyouts.

Mr. Ammerman received a Master of Science in Industrial Administration from Carnegie Mellon University.  He also received a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with Honors from Carnegie Mellon University.  He is currently a director of several privately held companies.

 

Sunil Dhaliwal

Battery Ventures

Sunil joined Battery in 1998 and focuses on investments in IT infrastructure and financial services. Sunil is currently a board member at Fintura, MRU Holdings (NASDAQ: UNCL) and Neocleus (observer). He has previously served as a director or board observer at CipherTrust, Inc. (acquired by Secure Computing), Netezza Corporation (NYSE Arca: NZ), Storigen Systems (acquired by EMC), @stake (acquired by Symantec) and Storability Software (acquired by StorageTek). Sunil has also been involved with other Battery investments including Cbeyond (NASDAQ: CBEY) and Akara (acquired by Ciena).

 

Prior to joining Battery, Sunil worked in the High Technology Group at Alex Brown & Sons, Inc., where he executed numerous equity financings and mergers and acquisitions in the communications and software industries. Sunil graduated from Georgetown University with a BS in Finance and International Business.

 

David Feinleib

David Feinleib brings extensive entrepreneurial and operating experience to his role at MDV. He invests in Internet-enabled companies.

 

Prior to MDV, David ran a profitable online advertising business. He founded Likewise, a venture funded company providing interoperability software for mixed Windows and Linux environments. Before Likewise, David was an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Ignition Partners, where he co-founded and was VP of Product Management at Consera Software (HPQ). Prior to Consera, David co-founded and was CEO of onDevice (KEYN), a wireless software company.

 

Before onDevice, David led marketing and development teams at Microsoft. He managed the Out of Box Experience team for Windows and worked on television and Internet access services. David's first entrepreneurial endeavor was in junior high school when he developed and sold ShareWare programs.

 

David maintains a blog at www.vcdave.com. He sourced MDV's investments in Fliqz, Genius, hi5, Infusion Software and PBWiki, is a board observer at Visible Measures, and a director of Likewise.

 

David holds a B.A. from Cornell University, and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

 

Ron Gonen

As a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, Ron focused on developing CRM and strategic account management programs for clients such as Bank of America, Bank of Montreal, Bank One, GE, and DIRECTV. Ron received an MBA from Columbia Business School where he was a Eugene M. Lang Center for Entrepreneurship award winner and received a BA in History and Economics from the University of Massachusetts where he graduated cum laude and was awarded Massachusetts Commonwealth Scholar honors.

Positive Action

Ron was a co-recipient of Deloitte Consulting’s National Impact Award in 2002 for his developing a consulting unit that provides pro bono consulting services to non-profit and charitable organizations. He was also a founding member of the National Conference for High School Students Against Hunger and Homelessness and started the first recycling program at his high school.

 

Larry Lenihan

Lawrence D. Lenihan, Jr. is the Senior Managing Director and co-head of Pequot Ventures and serves as a senior member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Mr. Lenihan founded Pequot Ventures in 1996 and has been directly involved in the formation of each private equity and venture capital fund established by Pequot Ventures since its inception. Mr. Lenihan has more than 17 years of operating and investment experience in the technology industry. Prior to his joining Pequot in 1996, Mr. Lenihan was a Principal at Broadview Associates, L.L.C. (now part of Jefferies & Co.), one of the leading mergers and acquisitions advisory firms focused on the information technology industry. Prior to that, Mr. Lenihan held several operational positions at IBM, and led the development and launch of one of the first transactional multi-media systems for the retail industry.

Mr. Lenihan currently serves on the Board of Directors of Dovetail Insurance, Duck Creek Technologies, EagleEye Analytics, Health Plan One, Restricted Stock Partners, Saba Software (NASDAQ: SABA), Superior Access Insurance Services and Swingtide.  Some of his past investments include Netegrity (acquired by Computer Associates), Outlooksoft (acquired by SAP), First Advantage (NASDAQ:FADV), Silverstream (acquired by Novell), theStreet.com (NASDAQ:TSCM), Galvantech (acquired by Cypress Semiconductor) and Interpacket (acquired by American Tower).

Mr. Lenihan earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Duke University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.  He serves as Chairman of the Duke University Pratt School of Engineering Devil Fund and is an adjunct professor at New York University

 

Dr. Connie Li

President, CEO and Co-Founder

Dr. Connie Li is president, CEO, and co-founder of TrafficCast International. Co-author of one of the industry’s leading traffic flow texts, Dr. Li leads TrafficCast with vast knowledge and experience within the traffic and logistics industries.

 

Prior to founding TrafficCast, Inc., Dr. Li founded a successful and profitable traffic and transportation consulting business, TranSmart Technologies. Dr. Li received her PhD in Transportation Engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago, her MS in Transportation Engineering from the University of Tokyo, Japan, and her BS in Civil Engineering from Tsinghua University, China. She was the first woman to receive an MS in Transportation Engineering from the University of Tokyo. Dr. Li is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois and Arizona, and speaks frequently at industry conferences.

A partner at Fidelity Ventures, Dave is focused on growth technology companies. He currently serves on the boards of Black Duck Software, EnterpriseDB, Kajeet, Ping Identity, RedBrick Health and SpikeSource. He has also served on the board of Polyserve (acquired by Hewlett Packard) and Ximian (acquired by Novell).

Dave's prior experience includes a number of technology industry operating roles. Dave was CEO of Novera Software (acquired by Mercator Software), a pioneer in web application integration. Prior to Novera, he served as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Development at RSA Security. Dave was also the Vice President and General Manager for PC-Unix Integration Products at Sun Microsystems. Prior to Sun, he was Vice President of Mercer Management where he co-founded the firm's technology industry practice, providing strategic advice to Apple Computer, Lotus Development, Digital Equipment and other technology leaders.

Dave earned his BS and MS degrees in engineering from Tufts University and an MBA from Stanford Business School, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar. He also serves as a Trustee at the Perkins School for the Blind.
