Norm was one of the founding partners of Vestar Capital in 1988. At Vestar, he has been responsible for originating, negotiating and financing private equity investments in multiple industries and providing ongoing strategic direction to various portfolio companies. He currently manages the firms consumer, media and communications practices.
He is currently a Director of Border Media Partners, MediMedia and St. John Knits.
Norm began his career in 1980 as a Commercial Banker at Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company and was a member of the Special Finance Division from 1982 to 1984 when he left to become a member of the Management Buyout Group at The First Boston Corporation.
Norm is originally from Winchester, MA and lives in Purchase, N.Y. with his wife, Jane, and children (Caroline, Erin, Heidi, Adam and Natalie). He is a 1980 graduate of Brown University with an A.B. in American History and Economics.
Norm’s a Trustee of The Brown Hillel Foundation and a Director of the Brown Sports Foundation.

Glenn R. August is the President of Oak Hill Advisors, L.P. (“OHA”), a $10 billion investment firm specializing in the leveraged capital markets. He supervises all investment, trading and operational activities of the firm, co-founded each of OHA's funds and serves as the managing partner of each of their management entities. In addition, he is a Managing Partner of the advisor to Oak Hill Special Opportunities Fund, L.P., an investment partnership focused on investments in distressed companies. Mr. August previously worked in the mergers and acquisitions department at Morgan Stanley in New York and London. He earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar, and a B.S. degree from Cornell University. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of iStar Financial Inc., Vertex Data Science, Mount Sinai Children's Center Foundation and the 92nd St. Y.

Donald B. Marron

Donald B. Marron has been a prominent figure in the financial services industry for more than 40 years, during which time he led a major Wall Street firm and distinguished himself as a successful entrepreneur. Most recently, Mr. Marron founded Lightyear in November 2000 and today serves as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to founding Lightyear, Mr. Marron served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of PaineWebber Group, Inc., until its merger in November 2000 with UBS which created the world's largest wealth management firm for private clients with over $1.5 trillion of invested assets. Mr. Marron came to PaineWebber as a result of a merger he led between the firm and Mitchell Hutchins, a leading institutional brokerage firm that he served as Chairman and CEO. On a separate track, Marron co-founded Data Resources Inc. in 1969, with Harvard economist Dr. Otto Eckstein. The company became the largest nongovernmental source of economic data in the world and was purchased by McGraw-Hill Companies in 1979.
Among numerous civic, political, and professional affiliations, Mr. Marron is a member of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center’s Board of Overseers and Managers, a former director of The Charles A. Dana Foundation and a member of the board of trustees of New York University. He is a Trustee of the Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS), a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and Chairman Emeritus of the Center for the Study of the Presidency,
A collector of twentieth century art, Mr. Marron is a longtime trustee, former chairman and currently president emeritus and trustee of the Board of The Museum of Modern Art and a former member of the President's Committee on the Arts and Humanities.
Mr. Marron is the former chairman of the Board of Managers of Collegiate Funding Services (2004-2006); a former Director of Fannie Mae (2001-2006); a former board member of Shinsei Bank (1999-2005; a former Director of the New York Stock Exchange (1974-1981); a former Governor and Vice Chairman of the Securities Industry Association (1974-1977); and a former Governor of the National Association of Securities Dealers (1997-2001).

Veronis Suhler Stevenson
Jeffrey T. Stevenson is the Managing Partner and Co-Chief Executive Officer of Veronis Suhler Stevenson, a private equity fund with $2.5 billion of capital under management. VSS manages equity and Structured Capital funds dedicated to companies engaged in the media, communications and information industries. He joined the Firm in 1982 shortly after its formation and has been the head of its private equity business since its first investment in 1989. Mr. Stevenson serves as the President of each of the Equity Funds, approves all capital commitments, and directs the investment activities of the Equity Funds. Previously, Mr. Stevenson was Executive Vice President in charge of corporate finance at VSS, a department he founded.
Mr. Stevenson currently serves as a Director of Xtreme Information, Access Intelligence, Infobase Publishing, User Friendly Phone Books, Market Strategies, ITN Networks, TMP Worldwide, Medizine, Cambium Learning and Southern Theatres. Malon Wilkus

American Capital Strategies
Malon Wilkus is the founder of American Capital and has been the Chief Executive Officer and President since the company's inception in 1986; he is also the Chairman of the company. He is a recognized leader in implementing and financing management and employee buyouts of subsidiaries, divisions and product lines of major corporations. Mr. Wilkus has been a frequent speaker and has published a number of articles on the subject.
Mr. Wilkus was past chairman of the National Center for Employee Ownership and was a member of the Board of Governors of the ESOP Association. He has served on the board of over a dozen middle market companies in a variety of industries.
During 1986, Mr. Wilkus also served as President of Working Assets, a mutual fund with assets in excess of $100 million. From 1982 until the beginning of 1986, Mr. Wilkus was Vice President and Director of Marketing of Calvert Securities Corporation, a $2 billion investment management company. As Director of Marketing, Mr. Wilkus was responsible for distribution and development of eleven different mutual funds.
