Irving Albrecht is a marketing executive with over 30 years of experience in healthcare & financial services, startups and new market development. He brings significant experience in areas including market research and development, market identification and development of business plans; IT systems development and integration, CRM, direct marketing, attribution and data analytics to drive direct conversion. Irving has significant skills in identification of opportunities and development of business plans and deployment of corporate assets to enter new markets. In addition, Irving is a highly seasoned marketing professional that has exceptional experience in all aspects of marketing media including traditional, digital, social & experiential.
Currently Irving is Vice President of Marketing & Retail Sales at Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina. He is responsible for marketing communication and marketing research, direct and retail marketing for the Group and Individual Area. In addition, to direct marketing inbound call center operations for various product lines he has responsibility for retail store operations as well as mobile marketing, direct sales field representatives and all direct marketing efforts; including Direct Response TV, Direct Mail, Direct Inbound marketing and digital marketing.
Prior to his role at Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Carolina he was Mass Marketing Manager at another insurance company and has spent 42 years in the insurance industry starting as a college agent trainee for a large west coast mutual. He also was a full time adjunct marketing instructor at the University of New Orleans where he taught Junior and Senior Marketing courses.
In addition to his executive career, Irving has served as the Chair for many industry summits and conferences and has presented at over 35 on various healthcare and marketing topics, and has established himself as a thought leader in the field of healthcare & marketing. Irving is a former member of; United States Chess Federation national marketing committee , University of New Orleans MBA Corporate Advisory Board; and Former South Carolina State Chair for the March of Dimes Ride and currently serves on the Board of the South Carolina Senior Sports Classic.
Irving obtained his Bachelors of Science in Marketing from The University of New Orleans. He also holds an MBA from the University of New Orleans. Irving is a Fellow with the Life Management Institute and a Fellow with the Academy for HealthCare Management.

Lekha is the AI-BI & Mobility architect for Corporate Banking & Markets across US, EMEA and APAC. Her team is responsible for formulating strategies, architecture, roadmap and design related to big data preparation, machine learning, predictive analytics and artificial intelligence.
Prior to her current role, she was on an expatriate assignment heading the Retail Banking Architecture team in India. Her team was responsible for strategy, roadmap and design for Digital, DIY and Branch Banking, Banking Products and BPM. She also led innovation architecture involving ideation of new concepts, creation of prototypes and related business cases. She has 4 technology patents applied for and 2 granted patents.
She has been intimately involved with several Big Rock programs at Bank of America namely M&A (Fleet Boston, MBNA, Countrywide and Merrill Lynch), Preferred Rewards, Online Banking Payments & Transfers, Mobile & Connected Commerce. Prior to her leadership role in Architecture, she ran the core customer data platforms for Reference Data Systems which supports all of retail, internet and brokerage channels.
As a member of the Sr Leadership team, Lekha is a Technology Educator and guides various technology development and leadership training courses. She personally conducts technology and engineering sessions at in-house Leadership, Women In Technology, Diversity & Inclusion forums.
Prior to the Bank, she managed technology delivery of SAP sales and logistics and CRM solutions. Her industry experience includes Hi-Tech Manufacturing (Apple), Retail (Colgate Palmolive). She has had rich and varied international experiences across US, Asia, Latin America and UK.
Lekha has an Honors Degree in Computer Science Engineering and Project Management credentials. She has been a recipient of several CIO and CEO recognitions. Outside of work, she enjoys watching several sporting events – Formula 1, Golf, and Tennis & Cricket. She has an avid interest in art and photography and her recent interest includes scouting for rare vinyl records.

A summer position within the world’s leading custom publishing agency out of Greensboro, NC led to the start of his career and passion for the eCommerce and Digital Marketing space. Now as the Vice President of eCommerce and Digital Marketing for Extended Stay America - the country's largest company owned hotel chain, Christopher has responsibility for all digital acquisition and retention programs within the organization. In addition, he leads the organization’s eCommerce & mCommerce strategies. Since his start with Extended Stay America, the organization’s digital eco-system has grown drastically and digital revenues have increased 3-fold. Prior to Extended Stay America, Christopher spent 9 years at Pace Communications – the world’s leading custom publishing agency. While there, Christopher led the development of white-labeled brand identities, eCommerce sites, digital marketing efforts and full product lines for various clients, including: Conde Nast, eHarmony, XO Corporation and ASPCA. Christopher is thrilled to be participating in this Think Tank and is looking forward to building new relationships with other Charlotte-based industry eCommerce & Marketing leaders.
