Kathleen Casper is Vice President, Marketing for PGA National Resort & Spa, and oversees marketing and public relations for all revenue centers at the award-winning resort complex. She directs the development of division marketing strategies and has aligned the marketing priorities on customer loyalty and new guest acquisition within the meetings, golf, leisure and private membership segmentation.
She is responsible annually for several million dollars of direct revenues from the website and ppc and display campaigns, as well as social media. Other achievements include television partnerships with major network show, such as Golf Channel’s The Big Break and ABC’s former Live with Regis & Kelly. Database management and customer outreach is a key focus for her department’s benchmarks and performance.
Casper has spent 20 years in the luxury resort, golf and spa arena, with previous corporate assignments at Blackstone’s Luxury Resorts and Wyndham International’s Resort division. Additional high-end properties on Casper’s resume include Palm Beach Polo, The Delano, El Conquistador and Las Casitas in Puerto Rico, Golden Door Spas, The Boulders and The Peaks at Telluride. She was instrumental in the development of the American Express / Travel & Leisure’s Ambassador Cup golf tournaments. She helped found Jamaica’s Rose Hall Golf Association, and coordinated media for the Doral Ryder Open. Kathleen began her career in product marketing with both Revlon International and Procter & Gamble. Kathleen was the past recipient of the island of Jamaica’s Top Marketing Professional award.
She is a former board member of FIU School of Hospitality, American Heart Association Miami, Airline Ambassadors International, and a current volunteer at Big Dog Ranch Rescue and Miami-Dade Animal Services. Casper is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, with course programs at London Polytechnic and Kellogg School of Management.

Dustin Jacobs is the VP of Marketing at BrightStar Credit Union, one of the largest credit unions in South Florida with assets exceeding $450 million and more than 55,000 members. Jacobs has more than a decade of experience in the development of strategic marketing plans, corporate branding strategies, supervising staff and implementing media relations and community relations campaigns. He has years of experience working for companies such as H&R Block, Yacht Club of the Americas, and The Meraki Agency. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Shawnee State University in Ohio. Jacobs is also on the Board of Directors for Partners In Education, sits on Broward Education Foundation’s Board of Directors and is an active member of the League of Southeastern Credit Unions’ Young Professionals Group. He was named one of ‘20 Under 40’ by inWeston magazine in 2017.

Jennifer S. Torlone is the CIO and Senior Director, Technology and Information Services for Amerijet Holdings, Inc. Since joining Amerijet in May of 2011, Jennifer has positioned the company to become a leader in technology, modernizing the applications, architecture and infrastructure. She has transformed the Information Technology organization at Amerijet into a team of innovators, business strategists, and project managers, while outsourcing the day-to-day activities. Her vision is to make it easy to do business – with internal and external customers.
Before joining Amerijet, Jennifer served for 10 years as Vice President of Information and Account Services for Fine Art Lamps, a privately held, US-based manufacturing company with global distribution, where she was responsible not only for the company’s technology, but also, customer service, accounts receivable, credit services, and marketing. She spent the previous 10 years in executive technology roles for publicly traded and Fortune 500 companies.
Jennifer is the South Florida Business Journal and Steven Douglas and Associates 2015 CIO Lifetime Achievement Award Honoree. Jennifer holds a bachelors of science in entrepreneurship from University of Miami. She is very active with the Boys Scouts and Girl Scouts of America and is a Committee Chair and Charter Organization Representative, respectively. She supports both Angel’s Pediatric Heart House charity and His House, is on the Technology Committee for Debbie’s Dream and is on the Board of South Florida Digital Alliance. Jennifer rides her horses in Dressage competitions and has competed in local and international events throughout her riding career. She resides in Plantation, Florida with her husband and two sons.

Mariela Ure is the Head of Integrated Marketing for Wells Fargo’s Deposit Products, Digital Services and Innovation, which includes one of the largest deposit portfolios in the country. She oversees the development of national marketing strategies and is responsible for the execution of multi-channel marketing communications to deliver on a range of KPIs, including customer acquisition and cross-sell.
A 20-year marketing veteran, Mariela assumed her current role with Wells Fargo in 2011. In her previous role as Segments Strategy Leader for the company, she led the company’s efforts to attract and better serve the needs of multicultural consumers in the U.S., the development of business and marketing plans, and defined the company’s priorities to maximize service to Hispanic and Asian communities nationwide.
Previously, she was with Bank of America’s Enterprise Marketing Group, where she led the development and implementation of marketing programs focused on the company’s corporate social responsibility efforts. She also directed Consumer Deposits marketing campaigns. Prior to that, she managed direct marketing efforts for Walt Disney Parks & Resorts and Red Ventures, a direct marketing agency.
Mariela is active in her community. She is a Florida Certified Guardian Ad Litem, serving as a child advocate volunteer for abused and neglected children for more than 10 years. She is also a student mentor and member of the Board of Advisors of Florida State University’s Center for Hispanic Marketing Communications. Mariela was recently listed among the “2014 Top 50 Hispanic Influentials” by Hispanic Business Magazine.
A native of Puerto Rico, she earned a bachelor’s of science degree in Business Management from Nova Southeastern University in Florida. In her free time, Mariela enjoys practicing yoga, reading and traveling with her family from Puerto Rico, Cuba and Venezuela. Mariela is married and resides in Miami Beach, Florida.
