She also provides leadership to the HR matrix teams supporting Law, Compliance and Audit Services, and Technology Services. Kim splits her time on several boards that include: the University of Texas Arlington Human Resource Advisory Board, Girls Inc. of Tarrant County, the National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP), the Source of Hope and the DFW Multicultural Alliance. Colleen Dutton has served as the Associate Vice President for Human Resources at the University of Texas at Dallas since June 2012. As the CHRO, she is responsible for the strategic leadership and direction of the Office of Human Resources and is grateful for the talented professionals that work hard to achieve the mission of the HR team. That mission, to enable the success of others; what we do should help others be their best at what they do best, has successfully elevated the role of HR from transactional, to a consultative partnership with campus colleagues. In December 2016, Colleen received the Strategic Leader of the Year Award from Pursuit of Excellence, Inc. for her efforts in reinventing the HR function at UTD.
Prior to joining UTD, Colleen was the Director of Employee Relations and Compensation at Rice University for 12 years, and worked in public and private health care for 13 years prior to venturing into academia.
Colleen is the creator of The Four C’s of A Diamond Employee model – Character, Culture, Commitment, and Capability; the T.R.E.E. strategic planning model - Total Rewards, Recruitment, Retention and Recognition, Excellence in Performance, and Employee Engagement); and the P.I. Rajiv Kumar serves as Chief Medical Officer and President of Virgin Pulse Institute, which provides Virgin Pulse clients with cutting-edge Value-on-Investment (VOI) studies and promotes research on health, wellbeing and employee engagement. Dr. Rajiv Kumar’s responsibilities also include overseeing the Virgin Pulse Science Advisory Board and the organization’s analytics team.
Dr. Kumar joined Virgin Pulse in 2016, following the company’s acquisition of ShapeUp, an employee wellbeing company that he founded in 2006. Miya Maysent is the VP of Talent Development and Diversity for JCPenney. In this role, she is responsible for leading teams who support Associate education and growth from front line store associates to Officer and executive development. Jose was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico where he attended the University of Puerto Rico and graduated with Honors, obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. He has more than 30 years of combined Human Resources executive experience.
Currently, Jose is the Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Dean Foods Company, the largest US national fluid milk dairy. In this role he develops the Human Resources strategy, planning and implementation for approximately 16,000 employees across the US. Prior to this role, Jose was Dean Foods’ Vice President of Total Rewards and HRS.
In his previous experience, Jose was the VP of Global Compensation for HP Enterprise Services, where he provided compensation leadership and strategic direction around the world for more than 135,000 employees. He also spent 12 years with PepsiCo in various leadership roles which included VP, Compensation & Benefits PepsiCo Americas Foods, VP Compensation & Benefits Frito Lay North America, VP Compensation & Benefits Frito Lay Latin America, Asia and Australia, and Personnel Administration Director for PepsiCo in Latin America.
In his early years, he worked for Deloitte, Willis Towers Watson, Unilever and Motorola, in various compensation and benefits consulting roles and Human Resources management positions.

Linda Valdez Thompson is the Executive Vice President of Administration and Diversity at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. Dr. Ahu Yildirmaz leads the ADP Research Institute, a specialized group within ADP that provides insights to leaders in both the private and public sectors on current and emerging issues in human capital management, employment trends, and workforce strategy. The Institute leverages ADP’s deep expertise across the entire spectrum of human capital management, as well as insights gained from ADP’s approximately 600,000 clients and its 20M+ employee sample, to conduct research that illuminates the crucial trends shaping today’s working environments.
Additionally, Dr. Yildirmaz is responsible for managing the world-renowned ADP National Employment Report, a monthly measure of U.S. employment derived from an anonymous subset of roughly 350,000 U.S. business clients.
