  • 7:40am – 8:40am Breakfast
  • 8:40am – 8:50am Opening Remarks by Argyle Host
  • 8:50am – 9:20am Keynote Presentation: "Project Maximization Finance Initiative"

Chris Feeney will be discussing Delaware North’s major initiative to transform its operating model for internal finance and accounting services, otherwise known as Project Max.

This began as a much broader enterprise initiative that covered human resources, information technology, supply chain, and finance and accounting. Early in the feasibility study, the company’s leadership decided to initially focus on finance and accounting due to the company’s lack of change over its 100-year history; the risk to the business involved with such a large-scale change; the degree of fractionalization in process and technology across the global workforce; and the lack of internal capability to spearhead such a change.

Christopher will cover the journey to date, what is to come, successes and challenges, key learnings, and the importance of establishing meaningful partnerships with the lines of business and functional areas within the company, as well as third parties, to drive positive outcomes.
