Darrell Davis, an eight year veteran of LifeLock, and now part of Symantec Corporation, was recently promoted to the position of National Accounts Manager for Employee Benefits.
A proud University of Texas graduate and resident of Austin, Texas, Darrell is one of LifeLock's most experienced sales leaders, having served in a number of leadership positions developing new partner channels. As National Accounts Manager, Darrell's primary focus is on accounts of 10,000 or more lives.
When reflecting on his experience in employment benefits and his new role, Darrell expressed, "My focus is very much about education rather than pure sales. It is really about letting employers know the level of impact breaches and identity theft can have on an organization and how they can best mitigate their risk."
His outlook for the future is reflected in the recently released Willis Towers Watson study about the evolution of the employee benefits space. "I have watched the industry change significantly over the years. A few years ago, many brokers and employers weren't even aware that we offered identity theft protection as a benefit. Now, because of the many well publicized corporate breaches, it has become a very relevant topic of discussion. When employers are educated on the digital climate that exists today and in the foreseeable future, it becomes quite clear that there is a significant upside to offering identity theft protection as a benefit.
