2018 Supply Chain Virtual Event: Using Emerging Technologies to Manage, Control, and be Predictive During the Complete Asset Lifecycle
Why You Should Attend!
The rise of the Internet of Things has seen a tidal wave of data unleashed into the supply chain. Connected devices are now everywhere, from wearables on the warehouse floor through to temperature monitors in shipping containers. These provide supply chain managers with unprecedented real-time insight into every aspect of their operations, enabling them to be more efficient, more cost-effective, and more responsive to risks.
Supply chain managers need to understand how they can best exploit this data - the technologies that collect and store it, the evolving skillset required of supply chain professionals, and how to align the organization to ensure insights garnered translate into action. In this webcast, Rahul Asthana from Oracle and Daniel Stine from Hitachi Consulting will discuss everything organizations must do to use their data to its full potential. They will demonstrate the importance of an end-to-end supply chain operating model with a ‘digital thread’ running through every step and show how it can be achieved.
The thought leadership session will be followed by a panel discussion featuring senior supply chain executives as they discuss the state of art in digital technologies and their applications. The panelists will also be available to answer questions from our audience during the Q&A portion of the webinar, proceeding the panel discussion.
