Thought Leadership Spotlight: Preparing for Trillions
The Internet of and for Things (IoT) is accelerating an era of digital disruption in ways we have never experienced in history. Organizations and line of businesses have to leverage technology more than ever to stay relevant in this idea economy. With IoT, there is the “Art of the Possible” and the tremendous value to be gained from creating new business models, improving operational efficiencies and enhancing customer experiences. At the same time, this big potential to drive differentiated business outcomes can present massive challenges for traditional IT. CIOs must stay ahead of this hyper connected world that demands more infrastructure resiliency, flexibility and security; and with the massive explosion of devices and data, will the Cloud eventually clear away for something more?

Keynote Presentation: "Digital Defense and the End of the Perimeter"

Companies are leaning towards the consumer in ways that are truly transformational for commerce.  Technology unlocks capabilities from cost-effective small production runs, to connecting customers to suppliers in the ‘Gig Economy’.  The organizations that will thrive in this new economy will be those that are 100% oriented towards preferences expressed by the end user.  Exponential growth of data, devices and delivery options creates new risks for those leading, or accountable for, security and privacy.  Learn the new KPI’s, approaches and techniques to protecting digital commerce as the traditional security perimeter crumbles.

 Learn about:

  • A brief history of cybersecurity
  • Why digital truly requires new approaches
  • How failure can come very easily
  • New KPI’s for your organization
  • Approaches that work, and those that don’t
  • Digital Technology for Cybersecurity (Big Data & Cloud Tools)
  • Why the Fundamentals still matter
  • What does it mean to win?
