2019 CIO Leadership Forum:
Embracing the Digital Revolution, from Information to Transformation

New York, NY - Jun 20, 2019

Overview

2019 CIO Leadership Forum: Embracing the Digital Revolution, from Information to Transformation

In today’s thriving digitally focused landscape, leading IT executives across all organizations must ask themselves whether what their initiatives are disruptive enough to impact their business and industry. While transformation implies that there is an end to some, many leaders know that the digital journey do not end, and adapting is the only means of survival.

The modern CIO knows that success as a digital first company does not lead with technology, but instead focuses on overhauling the enterprise with customer centric goals and mindsets. Organizational growth can now be defined as the balancing act between strategic implementation of technology with the ability to consistently drive change.

Argyle’s CIO Leadership Forum provides the relationships, resources, and solutions to help IT leaders digitally transform their organizations. In collaboration with our Argyle Influencers CIO Advisory Board, we have designed an agenda that will touch on:

• The business of transformation – modernizing applications, anticipating threats, and prioritizing your roadmap
• Continuing the cloud journey to ensure it is seamless, streamlined, and secure
• Demystifying and deploying blockchain for effective adoption and achievable results
• Creating value for your organization through machine learning and AI
• Becoming more agile through clearly defined micro-services and API-based integration
• The next generation CIO – building engaged teams and redefining what is possible for the enterprise
• Using advanced analytics, data coming from connected devices, and the power of AI and machine learning to derive insights to drive better business results

Thought Leadership featuring Adobe: "The Rise of Customer Data Platforms (CDPS) to transform your organization to an experience business"

Digital is changing everything about how a business operates. Marketing isn’t just about brand awareness anymore — it’s about something higher, a brand purpose that creates a deep connection between a company and its customers. This introduces a massive shift in the way businesses need to interact with their customers. It involves understanding the customers deeply including behavioral and anonymous data across their entire journey to deliver 1-1 personalized experiences across channels. In recent years, Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) have emerged as a purpose-built solution for the marketer that provides a unified, persistent, single storage for all customer data including first, second, and third-party data linked together by identity stitching algorithms. Further CDPs connect with other applications to activate audiences across the broader ecosystem. Join this session to understand what CDPs are and the advantages they offer over older alternatives.

Keynote Presentation: "Futures for Digital CIO's"

What does the future hold for a digital CIO and do you plan for it? The transformation journey is not a simple one. The digitization of an organization is no small task by itself, but CIO’s need confidence that changes they’re making will work for them in the future. How many of yesterday’s hot technologies hit dead ends? This session will explore ways to assess possible futures on an organization’s own terms. There are many forces at play that influence the digital infrastructure necessary for success and not all paths work for every organization.

This session will identify four themes that organizations can use to build scenarios to help them plan. We’ll touch on a maturity model that can guide investment and sort how to establish guideposts to ensure that you’re on track.
