KEYNOTE PRESENTATION: Cultivating a Culture of Trust from Day One

In this session you will learn the growth and development of a company—leading the way in demonstrating a new level of agility in the way we shape and deliver work. Starting with a culture anchored on trust, the company takes time to not only impart knowledge about the organization but instill a commitment of solutions and teams that impact the world.  Employees are given access to a variety of resources to build skills, further learning, and empower them to do the best work of their careers. This results in an intelligent human network, where people are not afraid to make mistakes, and constantly push one another to be open and contribute to an inclusive environment.

During this session you will:

  • Hear more about creating a conscious culture of trust that encourages people to perform at their best
  • Discover how to invest in leaders, teams, and talent agility in a way that contributes to the growth of a company, not just select individuals
  • Learn how to keep your company’s core values while you transform work and innovation to grow as a company

THOUGHT LEADERSHIP SPOTLIGHT: How the Internet has Affected Today's Learner - featuring American Management Association

Because of the rapid pace of business and life in general, today’s workers are taking it upon themselves to search out their own skill development.  Learning organizations are embracing the idea of “learner-centric” learning to off-set tighter budgets, smaller staff’s, and increased priorities.  However, many are not thinking through the consequences of such a strategy.  American Management Association (AMA) will share insight from research conducted by Yale University who looked at the impact of self-selected learning as well as discuss how to maximize the impact of this learning strategy.
